Four of us arrived around 6 on a Tuesday evening and were seated quickly. The service was attentive. They had a special where wine was 50% off, and there was a reduced price for some beer. I ordered the American cheese burger and it was very good, as were the 2 sides (salad & fries). Other members of our party ordered the Beef Dip, Grilled Cheese and the French Onion Soup. All said they were very good. Quantities were large.

Went on a Saturday for lunch. The service and food was excellent. I had the tostada salad and it was tasty. Everyone in our group seemed to enjoy their food. I took one point away because they weren't able to push tables together to accommodate a large group (the tables are bolted to the floor) and they don't offer a kids menu.

We had a group of 6 people who stopped after an afternoon at the horse races. When we went in, the hostess asked if we had reservations. We didn't. We asked about sitting in the bar, asking if some of the bigger tables in different locations were available. They were reserved. However we asked if a corner table/booth was available She was able to seat us there. We were fairly comfortable with four people on a booth seat around the table and two on chairs.
The atmosphere is pretty good. We were by the windows so we could see what was happening outside. It wasn't too dark inside so you could get a feel as to what's going on inside. Some people have commented that there's not a lot of space or privacy. In some spots, that appeared to be the case as it seems like they were trying to get as many booths and tables in the building as possible.
Our service---well it started SLOW. We sat and waited quite some time to get our drink orders. Once we were finally able to get in our drink orders, we asked the waitress if we could put in our food order, so we didn't have to wait longer. She said she could do that, then bring our drinks out. It took a little while to get the food, which was pretty good. French fries were cold, but that seems par for the course at a lot of places nowadays. The sandwich was tasty. One person in our group ordered his burger with no toppings--no lettuce, tomato or pickles. He was waiting for quite some time after everyone else had their food. The waitress said they were "fixing" his sandwich as they made it with toppings, so they had to redo it.
I thought the prices were a little on the high side. Would I go there again--maybe.

Went for a quick lunch; had a hamburger exactly the way I wanted, which was different than the way that they normally serve it. Staff were fun, quick, and social. A bit higher priced, but worth it. Will return.
