Having a great experience right now. They didn't have the jr suite we requested so they upgraded us to a full on 2 room suite and complimentary breakfast for our "inconvenience ". Excellent service. Had dinner in the bar/ restaurant. Also very good. We will be back

I would like to live here. Everything was wonderful and everyone genuinely eager to please. Great bed and pillows, bright & quiet room. Loved the area rug on laminate floor, made for a lovely clean feeling. Beautiful historic & legendary grand dame of railways hotels. Excellent location to many great restos and attractions.

We stayed two nights - early spring. The weather wasn't great but we still did lots of walking to all the great spots nearby. The room was lovely, the service was excellent. My favorite part was the free coffee delivered to the room in the morning!!

My husband and I have stayed at the Fort Garry many times. We love the building, the Palm Lounge, the location and the great service. Unfortunately our last visit was quite disappointing. We had problems upon check in, and were given the wrong information regarding what was included in the package we had booked. We then had problems with two separate room service orders. These weren't huge inconveniences, but it was definitely not the service we had expected from the Fort Garry. We voiced our concerns to management and heard no response. We live outside of Winnipeg and enjoy a "staycation" once or twice a year. Unfortunately I do not think we will be returning to the Fort Garry.

Visited the Fort Garry for a few days away. The service was very good, the rooms very lovely and proximity to the sights we wanted to visit. The only downfall was a room without a view but given the weather it was not an issue.

Room Tip: Firm bed was great.
