Last year my partner and I were gifted a stay at Nita during my mom's wedding and were so impressed that I planned a trip for us to return exactly one year following. The trip exceeded our expectations and fondest memories: The staff was incredibly friendly (front desk and dining alike), the room impeccable with a FANTASTIC view of the lake, and the guests also so friendly. We're friendly people so it's always nice to be able to have casual conversation with new people in new places. Over the two days, we got to recognize the staff, and some of the guests. We were so impressed that we booked our return visit for the following year upon check-out and are already planning what excursions to do! I should add, the staff was super helpful in planning our Zip Lining trip and spa services prior to our stay. Couldn't have asked for a better vacation!

Room Tip: Lakeview is worth the extra $

The lodge hugs Nita Lake, and the view from the "lake view" rooms is absolutely stunning. We stayed on a rainy weekend and I enjoyed looking out at the misty water surrounded by mountains and forest while relaxing on the sofa in front of the cozy gas fireplace in our room. Loved the modern rustic feel of the room, the lobby area, everything about it. It was nice to be set a bit away from the bustle of Whistler village. The coffee shop attached the building was excellent - good food and coffee, and it was a fun place to hang out.

This is our second visit to Nita since a couple years ago. The rooms are a good size, quiet no noise from other rooms or outside and comfortable beds. The patio doors are a little tricky to figure how to use and open, unfortunately there is no Nespresso coffee makers in the room which would be a nice update. We did not pay the extra price to have a room overlooking the small lake in the back and instead had a room on the second floor overlooking a rooftop garden with trees so unable to see the mountains or anything for that matter. We had asked for a higher room which would be on the third or fourth floor but were not accommodated, They have a free shuttle to Whistler every half hour or you can take a walking path which takes around 40 minutes but well worth the views.

Dear Pat,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It's always great to welcome a return guest.

As you mention, views at The Lodge do vary. On the north side we have beautiful Nita Lake, whilst suites on the south enjoy sweeping mountain vistas and our rooftop gardens. Whilst we strive to accommodate guest requests, there are times during high business levels when this is not possible. As you can image, rooms on the third floor are often in high demand and I apologise that we weren't able to switch your room on this occasion

Thank you also for mentioning your experience with the patio doors. This sort of feedback is useful for The Lodge in identifying any potential issues and rectifying them as necessary.

If you'd like to reach out to us directly, we'd be happy to discuss any of this further.

We hope to see you again in the future.

Thanks once again,
Simon

We stayed here for only one night on our voyage through the Rockies. The location (a little outside Whistler) is beautiful by the lakeside. We snacked in the bar and it was very good. We later dined in the dining room and had a lovely mean with friendly and attentive service. The hotel has ample parking although you have to pay for it.
Being outside of Whistler is no disadvantage as the hotel is nice and quiet but it runs an on demand shuttle bus to and from the village.

We stayed here for three nights after being recommended by our son who had stayed here previously, and we were not disappointed. Set beside a small lake, a short ride from Whistler village itself, the Nita Lake Lodge is a lovely, friendly hotel. The staff are great. We had some major snags getting on to the free wifi, but the lovely ladies on reception, Linda, Sarah and Janice managed to sort it in the end. ( Turned out we had the only room in the hotel where the router didn't have the new wifi password). Our room was huge with an amazingly comfy bed and a stunning bathroom. The shower was fabulous. The only thing I will say is that the photo canvases of the hotel on the bathroom wall let it down, but if that is the only thing I didn't like, who cares. Let's face it you're not there to spend all your time in the bathroom!
All the bathroom products are L'Occitane which is nice and luxurious. There is a complimentary shuttle bus to take you to and from Whistler village, so one you've parked your car you can forget about it, tho parking is $20 per day! A little steep but there's no alternative so just suck it up and pay for it. There are some lovely trails to walk around Whistler and one goes right past the Nita Lake Lodge to the village. All in all a lovely stay and a special thank you to Aussie Sarah from the bar who surprised me with a funny gift on our last night!
