Whistler Mountain Bike Park

Attraction details
Owner description: Whistler Mountain Bike Park has something for every level of rider. Gentle, banked cruisers through the Coastal forest. Tight and twisty single track - perfect for intermediate riders. For the armour clad, full face wearing, 50lb. bike group there are steep rock faces, gnarly, root strewn lines, drop offs of all descriptions and more.

Great variety of trails at Whistler, as it is very much a commercial resort there is alot of riders who go. But having said that the time of year I went was not busy, but the trails were certainly well used ie rutted.

I recommend spending more than one day here. There are so many trails to explore, and you will want to hit each trail more than once. They have trails for everyone, including an extensive network of green and blue trails--very family friendly (I would say for age 10 and older). One of the few bike parks I have been to with multiple lifts and a gondola running. Lift lines are short. Riding times are long and epic. Rental bikes available from multiple vendors right in the village.

Bring your own DH bike or rent from any bike shop in the village. Start off slow and read the provided maps and literature to find your way around the park. You can buy a 3 run sampler but guaranteed you'll want more so go for a day pass and let'er rip.
