I stayed with a friend at the Delta Whistler Suites for 1-night ($217) while enjoying two days of spring skiing. We had a 1-bedroom suite, moderate in size and nicely appointed with a full kitchen (full size fridge, dish washer, large microwave, clothes washer and dryer in a closet), table and 2 chairs, and a seating area with sofa, chair, coffee table, desk and chair, wall mounted TV, and a fireplace in the corner. There was a small deck with 2 chairs overlooking an uninspiring grassy area with a few trees. The bedroom was quite small – it was pretty much filled with the 2 small single beds and chest of drawers; it did have a large closet, though, and another wall mounted TV. The bathroom was long and narrow (the door partially obstructed the toilet), with a bath tub/shower and doors to both the sitting area and the bedroom.

There was a swimming pool and hot tub, but both were closed for maintenance – very disappointing after a hard day of skiing. They did offer the use of the pool at a nearby hotel, but who wants to walk across the street in a swim suit? We dined at the Brickworks Public House next door, a very pleasant spot that had excellent entrees for ~$20 (a steal at Whistler). We had the lamb and a delicious pork belly and seafood dish. Parking was available in the labyrinth beneath the street and hotel for $30/day.

In summary, while the Delta was a comfortable and well appointed hotel with excellent staff and a good location, I was disappointed about what was delivered for the price. The suite was smaller that I would have expected of a Delta/Marriott, the view from our balcony was non-existant, and the pool and hot tub closure was very disappointing – the pool was one of the reasons I selected this property. Try it if you get a deal, but ask about the pool ...

This was my first experience with Delta hotels though I stay in Marriott hotels weekly. I was so impressed with the quality of the property and especially the service! Hanna at reception was so kind and incredible helpful. She really knows how to make Plat. Premier members feel welcome. Cannot wait to return to this property! Perfect location for a great vacation.

I had a lovely time staying at Delta Suites Whistler Village. Our rooms were spacious, clean and fully equipped to prepare meals, entertain in the dining and living spaces as well as the opportunity to offer up an extra bed with the sofa pull-out. I loved the view of the mountains and the pool/hot tub down below. Room service was friendly and prompt and made for a relaxing, home-like vibe. Thank you, Delta Whistler! :)

Recently stayed at the the Delta Suites with a few friends. I had never been to Whistler, so the experience surpassed all expectations. Staying at the Delta was perfect for our fun intimate group, as we were seconds away from restaurants and the main strip and also had the luxury of hanging out in the main living room area and watching movies. Be expected to leave inspired, rested, and in touch with nature.. You wake up to the beautiful mountain view and go to bed with the stars right on top of you. I would definitely recommend the Delta Suites to anyone going to Whistler and look forward to staying there again! Thank you Delta Suites for an amazing time!

At the check-in, I've asked if they have any specials for the Silver Marriott members. The answer was - "no, we are a small operation and we don't have anything like that for you. " This was a surprise. Later I discovered that they do have coffee machine only downstairs and not inside the room. Hmmm. The hotel was very noisy as a bunch of teenagers just arrived to attend their music festival. You can imagine the rest...
But the location is good.
