The Whistler Golf Club is a great course that is right beside the heart of Whistler Village. It is has the lowest green fees and is definitally challenging despite it being relatively flat.

It is a great course for walking because it is relatively flat. The fairways are pretty tight and if you put it in the rough the forest is really thick so your ball is gone... so bring plenty of extras.

The facilities are great and service is excellent. You are surrounded with by mountains and the views are stunning. They are also the only course with a full driving range and terrific practice facility including a putting green, chipping area and practice bunkers.

Definitely the best value in Whistler.

We book through Golf Safaris and this was our last course of 3 in 3 days. Not the longest course but there are lots of very tight fairways, if you are not driving the ball accurate, you can get on big trouble. Par 3s from the whites are playing 155 to 170, making them on the tougher side as well.
For proximity to Whistler you can't find a course closer.
Service is great, they shuttle you to a practice facility and balls are included.
Great patio area and the food at Palmers is reasonably priced and very good!

It was a bit drizzly at our 9:09 tee time but we were anxious to play and the friendly and accommodating staff got us ready and actually out early. Because of the wet conditions however, we were restricted to cart path only.

This caused a bit of delay with the unfamiliarity of the tough course and the wet weather. The marshal was great as he got to us at the fourth hole and said we could now go 90 degrees which moved the pace along .

Beautiful setting and lots of greenery and tree-lined fairways on most holes set up a difficult challenge along with the abundant bunkers and well protected large rolling greens.

Hole #3 is aptly named and very tricky 'Hairpin' with double doglegs right. Talk about course management means this hole. Target shooting is essential.

Hole #7 requires the same thought process as a layup is essential with the creek running in front of the green, bunker front right and trees behind add caution.

Hole #13 has a tight dogleg left up over a hill to the green below. A good drive is a must.

Arnie's hole #16 is an absolutely daunting beauty. Wow! Going to take a great tee shot to beat this one.

Can't wait to come back and play this wonderful course again.

Service was great and the atmosphere was typical post golf game "beer". Seating is very good and you can be inside or out and still see the end of the 18th hole.

The ribs, corn on the cob, and lobster flavored mashed potatoes were good. There was even a few pieces of lobster in it. Wish the corn had been out of the water for a while since it was very wet. Maybe a short stint on he grill would help.

Fun course. We golfed as part of golf package. The only problem was the course also booked a tournament the same day and with the frost delay it sucked to have to scramble to finish instead of getting to enjoy the course a it's views. It is a position course and the greens were good. Food and beer at the club house were good with good service.
