We were warmly greeted by professional welcoming Julie. She helped us with a joyful smile and made sure all our needs were met. Roxanne in the gift shop who often works at the concierge desk was informative and helpful. We enjoyed great breakfasts at Jonathan's restaurant there on property.

Room tip: You are very close to many wonderful places to visit, check with folks at hotel regarding details.

Stayed for two nights at the Royal Scot in a suite with kitchen area, lounge, bedroom, bathroom and balcony. Slightly dated but spotlessly clean and no problem about bringing in food and cooking if you wanted to. The hotel was one block back from the harbour front in a quiet location with easy access to all of the attractions of Victoria. The hotel has a good gym and pool area together with a guest laundrette (detergent available from the gift shop). We were delighted to find a box of chocolates in our room from the hotel together with a card for our Ruby Wedding Anniversary. It was a lovely touch which made us feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Room tip: Ask for a room near to the lifts if you have walking difficulties - corridors are long!

Recently we stayed at Royal Scot Hotel & Suites at he end of a 13 day Cosmos Coach Tour of the Rockies. During our tour we stayed at some very nice Hotels, but nothing compared to the Royal Scot Hotel and Suites. Upon entering our room we were greeted with a quite large suite consisting of a large lounge, dining area, kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom (as well as a nice entry area. The location of the Hotel is one street back from the waterfront and within easy walking distance from some of the scenic highlights of Victoria (Waterfront, Parliament Buildings, Museum and parks etc. Staff were very helpful and accommodating....highly recommended.

My Granddaughter stayed here for only one night but wish it could have been longer. The greeting one receives upon check-in is amazing. The young lady, Hayley, who checked us in was most helpful and gave us great advice as to where to walk and visit along the way. Very helpful staff overall and very clean and excellent location for walking all over Victoria. The price was reasonable(we had a studio suite with one bedroom separate and a bed in living room. Wonderful stay and will surely stay there again if back in Victoria.

Room tip: We were on the top floor facing parking lot (4th) and it was very quiet.

Booked a suite for a mini-break....found our first floor room was near some kind of mechanical air vent that was noisy. Our request to change rooms was handled promptly and with extreme courtesy -- we were given a complementary upgrade to a quiet room on the second floor. Hotel is lovely -- big rooms, full kitchen, nice bathroom, clean. Staff is extraordinary -- friendly, courteous, cheerful and helpful. Restaurant is good, nice choice, good prices, and again the staff is extraordinary. Walking distance to everything. This is our favourite place to stay!

Room tip: Our first floor room was lovely, but noisy. I would choose upper floor rooms, but all that we saw are large, clean and comfortable.
