My perfect breakfast at chambar: One liege waffle with berries. One waffle with dark chocolate. Black coffee. Free wifi.

My husband and I would come here early, grab a table, open our laptops and have a perfect working breakfast. We loved this place.

So this was a French restaurant that we had walked by the night before and the menu looked interesting.

This was brunch/lunch and boy was it AWESOME!

The dishes were plated spectacularly and the food was delicious! This is a definite must return to restaurant while visiting Vancouver!

Everything was awesome and the service was pretty good.

The Roti de beouf, which I had was excellent except for the abundance of capers. Request this on the side and this dish is superb!!

We booked here for dinner before we arrived in Vancouver, as it was close to our hotel, and we knew we'd be exhausted after a day of sightseeing! It had a wonderful atmosphere, and the staff were so helpful. We managed to have a table outside, and made the most of a lovely warm day. We both had the salmon with squid ink tagliatelle, and it was delicious! We did find it quite expensive by the time drinks were added, but a very enjoyable experience.

We went there for our first breakfast and had a very positive surprise. The service was very friendly and attentive. They were also very knowledgeable about their menu and the daily specials.
The cappuccino was delicious and the daily omelette and the oat meal really special and fresh.
The good thing as well is the restaurant is quite large and you can get a space on the spot which is quite good.

We definitely recommend it, the bar also looks quite interesting for the evening even if we did not check it out.

After a recommendation by two lovely local ladies we met at dinner the night before, we headed to Chambar for brunch. We were seated quickly at a lovely table at the rear where the sun was streaming in. The menu was interesting and challenging for my husband who just wanted eggs . But after ordering an omelette with a side of bacon, he wasn't disappointed. The bacon was actually pork belly cooked in maple syrup with apple slices. The omelette was lovely and light with Parmesan and rocket. I ordered the very popular Bon Matin vegetarian option. It was just perfect with the med soft boiled egg, mashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, olive tapenade and a falafel. Served with sour dough toast it was divine. I like to eat healthy food and this fitted the bill. Served with our choice of macchiato coffee and tea, we were very satisfied with our last meal in Vancouver. We were also impressed with the lovely building this restaurant is in, and the lovely waitress who was most professional but also friendly.
