Cool place in good part of the city - had a party of 10 and they accommodated us all with hotel bikes for a ride around Stanley Park. Managers, bellboys, front desk - all so friendly and customer service oriented. Restaurant staff was typical - not overly friendly, but fine.

This was our first time staying at the Loden and we were not disappointed. From the beautiful room, to the smiling and welcoming staff, everything was perfect. The bed was super comfortable and the room had a lovely desk and seating area for working. The spa like bathroom and soaker tub were great for relaxing at the end of a long day. We will definitely be returning!

Up to this point, I had mainly stayed at larger chain type hotels, not many boutique hotels such as the Loden. I really enjoyed the smaller size, less congested lobby, and quiet atmosphere. Staff was very friendly, and helpful with tips on where to dine, assisting with reservations. The complimentary in town shuttle service was also appreciated. Location is very central, downtown, easy walk to the water front.

CQB Central, quiet, beautiful. These three words perfectly describe this very nice boutique hotel. We stayed here for the last three days of our vacation. Very friendly and professional staff, modern rooms, in walking distance to Canada Place, Robson Street and Stanley Park. We would very much like to stay in the Loden Hotel again if only it would not be more than 8000 km away from home.

I had the pleasure of staying at this gem of a hotel last week and was very pleasantly surprised. Excellent location within short walking distance to Vancouver's waterfront, Robson street shopping and the central downtown core. They also provide free car service within limits for guests as well bicycles should you wish to ride around the area or Stanley Park seawall. The staff were ALL so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great, modern and very comfortable with both slippers and robes, a safe and minibar with snacks. Very quiet in the rooms. My only complaint was the pillows were a little soft however had I mentioned it which I didn't as it was not a big deal, I'm sure I would have had news ones immediately. We had a small issue with a tap in the bathroom and it was fixed immediately. We didn't eat at the restaurant but did go down for a cocktail and they were awesome. This is my new favourite YVR hotel. I loved that the staff were not pretentious but genuinely friendly.

Room tip: Book early if you wish to have a room with 2 beds as they are limited.
