We stayed in this hotel and it was okay. I say okay, there wasn't anything REALLY wrong with it, but it was all the 'little' things you know?
We ended up changing rooms as the first room we were given (we booked online), was tiny and had a really big old eyesore of a house right outside the window that really looked like a deathtrap and needed to be torn down. This room was so small, we could barely move around the double beds. The faucet leaked and water spewed out all over the counter. We were moved without any issues, to a room facing the front which had a slightly better view, but a bit more noise (wasn't a problem though).
Room cleanliness, was OK, ( I did find some gum on the carpet which remained there throughout our stay even though I'd mentioned it, so that didn't really impress me all that much). The rooms had full stocked mini bar, but no corkscrew, and the bell hop had to come up and open our wine for us. For a wine 'themed' hotel, I was surprised by this.
The wine tasting..... well.. we never got to go to this even though we were there 3 nights, as it was at a VERY awkward time, and only for one hour, between 5-6. I would suggest it be a bit longer (2-3 hours would have been perfect)... you could have come back from a full day, had a nice glass of wine, then got ready and headed out again for the evening.

We used the fitness facilities here... not too bad, and the view was good. The elliptical trainer's computer didn't work, so you could USE it, just not know exactly what you were accompllshing. They had a water cooler up there for guests, however, there were NO disposable cups (shame, because who brings there water bottle on vacation?)

Jacuzzi was great.... nice and hot.... however the jets didn't work :(

The beds were small. My cousin and I each had a double bed, but you definitely would NOT book this room for 4 adults... the beds were hard and I don't think they actually had boxsprings, just some kind of hard platform that squeaked when you moved on the mattress.

The ;staff were helpful at this hotel, but it didn't really 'knock my socks' off you know? It wasn't bad, but it was the little things overall that just kind of added up.... including having to call down to the front desk for more toilet paper......

I think we'll try another hotel next time, unless they can fix some of the 'little' things........

Room Tip: don't get room 414...super small and horrible view.

Everyone at the front desk was very friendly and very willing to help us with directions or recommendations for dinner, etc.
Room was the smallest I have ever stayed in but there was a nice large Jacuzzi tub. Room was clean and quiet. Heater and A/C worked great.
Nice location next to Granville St. Bridge. We were able to walk to shopping. We would stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Close to Granville Island via water taxi and short walk to all the main attractions. The wine reception in the evening was great especially with a vine yard representative turning up.Giant Jacuzzi bath was also amazing and much appreciated after a day of walking the city in the rain!! All in all a very relaxing experience.

They had very nice rooms , at this hotel and it was very close to alot of stores, we were in town for a concert and had called a taxi, the front desk was being very helpful but we had been waitin awhile. they had callled back 4 times and it was almost time for us to be their so the front door man Albert was not at all happy and gave us a ride in the hotel car, this hotel has very very nice staff and we would definately stay again

Likes: Situated in the "less touristy" end/side of downtown, near the Granville Bridge, but just a short bus or complimentary courtesy shuttle ride to the more touristy northern end (it only about 20-25 minutes brisk walk from one end to the other). Close to a sky-train stop (best way to get from airport to hotel). This "False Creek" end of town was more in touch with the local "Vancouvorites". Handy to inexpensive restaurants and "take-outs".
Very friendly staff - could not do enough for us. We had a room on the main arterial route side the first night and one of the windows would not latch properly (faulty latch). As the latch could not be repaired immediately the Hotel management relocated us to a room which was just as nice but on the quieter side of the building. Great jacuzi on roof. The glass of complimentary wine at 5pm was a nice touch.
General: Rooms a little on the small side.
Dislikes: Nil - if something needed adjustment (i.e. more fresh towels needed in the jacuzi), then the staff would resolve ASAP.

Dear Tezza,

I appreciate posting your comments on Trip Advisor. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park.

I apologize for the inconvenience related to your relocation to another room, but happy to hear that all worked well at the end. I am quite sure that our currently conducted annual maintenance project will address all hotel rooms’ deficiency issues.

Yes, many of our guests enjoy our outdoor Jacuzzi on the 9th floor and fitness centre with amazing view on English Bay. We do inspect the Jacuzzi room every few hours to make sure there is sufficient supply on fresh towels. As the result of your comment, we will increase supply of fresh towels to ensure they are conveniently available to guests enjoying relaxation bath in the Jacuzzi.

Best regards
