This is a top notch hotel and you will enjoy your stay here. The staff manages to show sincere concern for the guests' comfort without being cloying. I ordered room service during my visit and found all meals to be fresh, hot and delicious. The view of the bay/harbor is well worth the extra fee you might charge. The hotel is located close to Robson Street, but not so close that you feel in the middle of things. Also very close proximity to Stanley Park. The lobby and restaurant are elegant and well appointed. In general, I couldn't have been more pleased. Highly recommended!

Nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable beds. Perfect location downtown and close to everything. I would stay there again.

Stayed night of September 23, 2006. We arrived early and our room was ready. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was quiet and had a great view from the 23rd floor overlooking the harbour.
Although we prefer a King Size bed we opted for a room with two double beds as we have stayed in this Hotel before and found that the bathroom is much larger and more modern with this configuration.
Easy walking distance to downtown and cruise ship terminal.
Will definitely use this Hotel again

My husband and my parents stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in September. It was the being of a 3 week holiday to Canada and could not have got off to a better start. The service in the hotel was excellent. The concierge was very helpful and all staff polite and friendly.
The hotel is in an excellent location, close to Robson Street, Canada place, the harbour lookout tower and the waterfront. It is also near Stanley Park.

For breakfast we followed the advice of another review and would agree with the recommendation for Moonpennies just around the corner. It was the best breakfast we had during our stay in Canada

We stayed for 5 nights and very much enjoyed our first visit to Vancouver. On the advice of other contributors to Tripadvisor we opted for a room ending in 19. We booked in at around 4pm and had to wait about 2 hours for a 19 room to come up but it was worth the wait because the room was excellent, very clean, spacious and a very comfortable bed. There were great views of the harbour form the vey large window and we could see the float-planes landing and taking off.

The hotel staff were friendly and obliging and responed well to any requests. The restaurant was pretty good but rather expensive so after the first day we took breakfast every morning in Goodfellas which was just across the street from the hotel. This was great value with good service and a reasonable choice of dishes. I would recommend this place as an ideal breakfast venue. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the Marriott, particularly in Robson Street (about 10 minutes walk) so there is a wide choice of places for an evening meal. We tried Earls on Top twice (reasonably prices and good service) and Cin Cin (more expensive but good value and excellent service).
