This review is long due as I stayed in Riviera a while ago from October 31 till end of November 2020. However, it is now that I can provide the attention and care needed to honour the promise I made to rate my stay. My stay included two weeks of quarantine as well. The room was spacious with lots of sunlight filtering through the glass windows that covered the one side of the suite. The view was beautiful. Especially rain drops on the glass windows inspired me a lot. The bed was super comfortable and on arrival the suite was clean. The staff was super attentive to all my requests and responded with great care to all my needs during my stay. I truly appreciate the staff. And thank them. I would definitely say staff is the highlight of my stay here as my experience with each one of them was positive and caring. To be honest I felt safe in the hotel space. The room I was staying in was mostly quiet which I greatly appreciated. Just the occasional morning wake up calls by sea gulls which was greatly appreciated too. The location of this hotel is fantastic. After my quarantine was completed, I was so happy to just walk to all the amenities, shops, try different delicacies, go to the beach and enjoy a cup of coffee in a nice coffee shop.

The only thing I felt uncomfortable with and that is what has stopped me from rating them 5 stars or otherwise I would have rated them, was that on my arrival I found out that to use the stove in my suite I would have to pay 15/day extra. I confirmed with the reception staff that whether it was declared in the adverstisement as I booked via booking.com. I found out it was not declared. To be honest, initially I felt quite uncomfortable with the new information of paying extra each day. It truly felt like an important information was withheld. The very reason why I booked a suite with a kitchenette was to cook my own meals during quarantine and it is also about principles such as honesty. Truly I felt conflicted at that moment. Lets be real, deep down we all respect people and businesses that are honest. If the hotel management can review the way they share the information, I can say for sure , it will only work to their own advantage in the long run.More
