We spent a couple of nights at the Beach House on Salt Spring Island in July. We had never been to the island before so really appreciated all the great advice Ellie shared with us. Our room overlooked the ocean and we enjoyed wonderful breakfasts on the deck upstairs.
Salt Spring is a place to which we would love to return and we would definitely recommend the Beach House as a wonderful place to stay!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Starfish room - we used both rooms. One had a king bed and the other room a double. Bathtub in the room, sitting area.

We stayed at The Beach House for four nights in August. It was lovely! The Beach House has the amenities of a high end hotel with the charm of a beach cottage. Our room, the Sand Dollar room, was large. It had a table for two, a large tub with jets, a fireplace and two chairs in addition to the King sized bed. Double French doors opened to the back yard which was only a few steps from the beach.

It was wonderful to wake up in the morning, open my eyes, and see the ocean before I even got out of bed! The breakfasts were wonderful and beautifully presented. The hosts were very helpful and gave us tips on what to see and do while on the island.

After a busy day exploring Salt Spring we would come home and relax in the hot tub or sit around the fire pit and watch the sun set over the water. We could not have found a better place to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

Summary: 5 Stars. You won't be disappointed.

What an idyllic slice of paradise. The wife and I are spending our 25th anniversary on a tour of the PNW. Having spent 4 days at 2 other B&B's in WA, we were led to the room by Ellie and we both looked at each other and said why didn't we JUST come here!

Stayed in the Starfish room. Four huge windows overlooking Fulford Harbor just a few steps down to the beach. Tub for two overlooking the water. Nicely decorated themed room. Your gracious host is a long time resident, historian and published author who can steer you to all the sights Salt Spring Island has to offer.

Easy ferry ride from Anacortes to Sidney and then a short puddle jump ferry to Salt Spring Island. You won't be disappointed.
