If your not skiing, you must be chillin - well I think that may be the staff view point.
Great little cafe bar. Food is good and plentiful and the staff are friendly but in no hurry.
I wouldn't return for a "quick" lunch, but definately would if I was looking to have a leisurely meal and get together with friends, has that nice relaxed vibe, but avoid 3pm hour either side - staff and menu changeover, sort of no mans land.

Clancy's is a nice local pub. Menu is limited, but what you'd expect in a small local diner. Prices are reasonable, don't take AX but will take USD at an even exchange with CD. We dined there twice and had the baby back ribs with garlic potatoes both nights. They have a good selection of craft beers and the service was very good.

Our food was all quite good- I can start with that. I had a veggie burger and was quite impressed. The side salad it came with was very larger and tasty. Cute atmosphere and decor as well.
The service was a down side though. Our girl didn't know the soup of the day or the beer on tap. Anytime we asked a question she had to run and check. Also two people at our table ordered the same thing and it took more than half an hour for her to come back after we had ordered to tell us only one person was able to order it.(running low). Also right when we got there she brought us 3 glasses of water but there was 6 people sitting at the table. Also plates and glasses were never cleared until we stacked them for her and put them at the edge of the table. And one huge pet peeve for me- she asked us if we wanted the bill and how it should be separated but we weren't even done eating. There was a lot of small things that she did wrong. I could tell she was trying because she was bubbly but it's the little things that count and are memorable.

Despite the good atmosphere, good music, and variety of beers on tap, there's a sign missing at the door: one that reads LOCALS ONLY.

We walked in to the cafe, hoping to grab a bite to eat, having spent the day on the road and it looked great. It was about 15 minutes before we were even acknowledged, after I had gone to collect our own menus. About 10 minutes after we arrived, a few guys came in, clearly regulars, and before we even ordered, they had their food and drinks. Ok. No problem. 30 mins - we finally order our food: nachos - a quick, and easy meal, right ? An hour after we've arrived, our server has yet to even come and ask how we are doing, or if there's anything else we may want...maybe a drink? Again, maybe this is just typical of the restaurant - but no, she and the other staff continue to check in on their friends (who all happen to also have their food in front of them). After about 90 mins, another guy, mostly working behind the bar, takes notice of the fact that we still have nothing but water in front of us, does a double check, and brings out the nachos which appear to have just been sitting at the back for an unknown period of time.

Slow service is slow service. Cool. But ignoring customers just because you don't know their names or recognize their faces from coming in on a daily basis or going riding with them on your days off, isn't the way hospitality goes, even if it is a small town. Looked great going in, but came out with a pretty sour taste in our mouths.
