You know it has to be consistently good if the locals frequent the restaurant. Great eggs bennie and War won ton soup.

My sister liked the won ton, I had a plate of fries and a pop. Appears to be a Chinese-Canadian restaurant.
This little resturant in Chemainus was a delightful surprise, I find if you see the locals eating there then chances are very good that the food will be too.
The service was great and there was only one waitress but she was amazing!
The portions were good and the eggs where delicious.
When we were leaving it was full every table occupied.
The town is very cute, its know for the Muriel's on the sides of the buildings, there is a actual tour, follow the footprints on the sidewalk and you will see the highlights
This is an old style diner where we experienced very pleasant service and a great breakfast. We were only in Chemainus in the morning so cannot say anything about other meal options but like us if you are in the vicinity and want an excellent brunch or breakfast you can't go wrong.
Went to spend a day shopping in Cemainus and wanted to start off with a full belly. We went for breakfast and the restaurant was warm and inviting with the friendliest waitress. The food was delicious and we all loved the homemade jams.
