The golf course is a beautiful little gem....ssshh, don't tell anyone! But our dining experience is what I wanted to share. Eight of us went for dinner. The menu is largely Italian / Greek themed with lots of tasty options. What kind of meat would you like? Chicken? Beef? Pork? Veal? Lamb? Fish? We all opted for Greek dinners and weren't disappointed. The full rack of ribs were phenomenal and literally melted off the bone. Tender, breaded veal, cooked to perfection. Tasty Greek potatoes (why can't I replicate these at home?) delicious souvlaki, homemade tzatziki. OMG! Definitely the real Greek deal! We cleaned our plates and enjoyed a sambuca after dinner to toast our wonderful host, Paul. Oh and if you have room after that huge portion of ribs, I highly recommend sharing a piece of chocolate cake (that word doesn't do it justice but I can't remember the exact name of the dessert). If you're staying in Chemainus, or just looking for an authentic gastronomical experience, you won't be disappointed! A short walk from the Best Western, makes this a definite destination for either dinner or lunch. We will be going back to experience the lunch menu very soon..Likely on the beautiful deck (once the weather improves =)
