Located in the middle of Jasper, not too difficult to find but parking a potential nightmare. Fortunately we met a couple in Clearwater who explained to us how to find parking and avoid traffic issues. The Hotel has an underground car park off a rear alleyway. The hotel parking is a real bonus because it enables drivers to get off the busy main streets when checked into the hotel.
Access from the car park is through a basement door that leads to the front entrance. Take the lift or stairs up to reception. The person on reception was helpful and saw us to our large room. Comfortable room with a good bed (great nights sleep) and a clean and spacious bathroom. Bathroom was a notable aspect of the accommodation because it offered great space and an impressive shower unit. The view from our room was over the rear alleyway that was littered with beer kegs, and business waste. Not attractive.
However, The Hotel is central to just about everything in 'Tourist overrun' Jasper. I visited Jasper over 30 years ago and it was a very different place then! I will not return to 'modern Jasper'.
The Park Place provided satisfactory accommodation in the centre of Jasper, suitable for 'tourist activities'. The Hotel staff and services were adequate to our needs; therefore we have no significant complaints.More
