This is a really nice course to play when the leaves turn in fall (before they hit the ground.) We saw a mule deer having an evening meal by hole 11 who just hung around and shared the landscape as the sun fell lower in the sky. We also saw a helicopter land along side the North Saskatchewan River. Driving range balls get hit into a large pond full of geese preparing to fly south with an adjacent practice and chipping green. A fun round.

This is not a course for beginners. There's water in play on a number of holes on the front nine and it can be punishing. A friend who is a member at the course admits it can be a brute of a course. That said, it's a very nice example of the beauty of the North Saskatchewan River Valley.

The course is right down in the River Valley, below some mansions and estate homes in Windemere, however it's reasonably priced given the locale. The front 9 and back 9 are far apart and make for a difficult walk between the two nines. Once you're at the back nine the course opens up and is easier for beginners, yet still not too forgiving.

The practice facilities are probably this club's weak link. The chipping green has a bunker with less loose sand than a concrete pad, and the sand that's in there is just as hard. The driving range is good for warming up, but if you're looking to get your clubs' range sorted, hit another range up as the balls float due to the range having you hit on a pond.

The Pro Shop is well stocked and the Club House offers a dated appearance, but decent food at fair prices.

Golfed here on a beautiful Sunday morning. The course is interesting with some beautiful views of the North Saskatchewan river valley. It is a mid level course in the Edmonton area ($75 on a Weekend). The landscaping is rough in some places and it could use some work in beautifying the course... any course were old equipment is left lying around, rock piles in different areas, poorly maintained cart paths is not worthy the price they charge but it is an interesting course. I have placed much worse but not a higher tier course.

Awesome course just minutes from home. Think we'll be making a few twilight visits this summer for sure.
