Well well so far one of my best holidays i have spent in Edmonton. The stay at Econo lodge is good. Neat and clean environment and obviously the food they provide. Sparkling rooms as they were super refreshing and yeah they provide discounts as well. Good enough.Last but not the least pocket friendly budgeting.

Very nice place. Clean, maintained to good standards. Everyone there was very helpful. The staff were extremely resourceful in helping and solving any issues we encountered. Best resort I have ever been to. I highly recommend.

I was a little scared by the price that I would be stepping into a nightmare, but for just one night, I thought I could handle it. Way better than I thought it would be! Check in was very smooth and the lady at the desk told us upfront about how my credit card was going to be charged. First stepping into our room, it smelled overwhelmingly of cleaners, but I got used to it quickly. All the basic amenities were in there and the room was just what we had booked. Over night, despite being right between a highway and a railroad loading station, it was very quiet. Temperature was uncontrollable - we couldn't change the thermostat and had to open the window (in October) and it was still too hot. The mattress cover was kind of lumpy, and so was the pillow, but it was clean and no evidence of bed bugs. Breakfast options were really good.

For a one night stay, I would definitely chose here again. If you're looking for a romantic getaway or a place to lounge during a vacation, this would not be it. Great for short stays if you're just looking for a place to sleep, clean up, and have breakfast on tight budget.

was looking for something cheap for the night. wasn't sure what I was going into, staff were friendly and check in was fast. no elevator but that didn't bother me, hallway was very dimly lit looked like it used to be an open balcony but then closed it in. the room needed some upkeep the paint on the door was chipped, no toilet paper roll holder, tv didn't get many channels, there was a worn out counter and sink that looked like it used to have a dishwasher underneath with a wire just taped up underneath very weird. the things that were wrong that I could see made me wonder what other shortcuts or items they overlook.

pros of the room are it had a microwave and fridge and coffee maker, plugs built into lamp next to the bed good for charging phone.

the location had its pros and cons. it was close to lots of restaurants and stores but built right along the train tracks not sure why they would put a hotel there.

breakfast was free but I didn't have it, didn't look to appealing and was meeting a friend.

This place should have the Econo hotel chain to come and review there rooms. Skid row has better rooms. There is a hot plate to cook on, ( fire hazard) no dishes or cooking pots or pans . Even son's wife was told they do not supply toilet paper, room was dirty , and my daughter in law had to wash the toilet and clean the room that they where moved too, also vacuum the floor. There is no maid service, now they want to charge ten dollars a day for staying with her husband . They should be paying her as she is cleaning the room. There are pictures of the property check them!

Room tip: Drive by this place to one of the other properties in Innisfail. Do not stop at the Econo
