A beautiful view of the lake and mountains after the snowfall. First a green lakeview, now completely white. Do not like the hotel at the lake very much, very pompous.

We drove to the lake early in the morning so that we can get a parking spot. But the best way to visit Lake Louise and Lake Marianne is to park at the park and ride and take the bus. Make sure purchase the tix for both places and according your schedule. But keep in mind, tix goes out quickly and there may be a wait. Plan your trip accordingly. Stay warm and the temperature drops quick and it was a lot colder than I expected. Enjoy the sunrise!

Simply said: you can't take enough beautiful pictures and no matter how many you take, the right-there-live experience beats the photos. Beautiful lake, nice, easy walk around 1/2 - 3/4 of the lake. Hiking available. One can take out a canoe. Simply a lovely place to visit, breathe and experience.

This is a stunning place; wonderful views. It’s around 45 minutes from Banff. It was easy to reach via Trans Canada highway 1. Parking was busy, but we found a spot. The views of the lake are stunning. We ate at the Fairview restaurant which is inside the Fairmont hotel.

The pictures do not do it justice. A must stop for anyone visiting this area. Just nature at its most beautiful and untouched!
