Booked a family vacation , four adults and a child . Stayed in a two bedroom suite. Everything clean and staff friendly but was very disappointed in rooms. Double beds in both rooms that were built for people 5 1/2 feet tall. With walkways all around rooms and with paper thin walls you could hear footsteps and partying till early hours in morning. To get to lobby or hot tub pool you must go outside so take slippers. Not worse place ever stayed but not were I would take kids to.

So we've wanted to stay here for years because of seeing the hot pool down in the lower level of this hotel. It's made to look like the original cave & basin hot springs and even has a opening in the ceiling to the courtyard above, so it gets lots of steam in the winter and even some snow comes in. It's quite neat but in no way does it make up for the crappy little room that you pay a lot for. The standard double and king rooms are pathetic for 2 or especially 4 people to stay in. They are sardine cans for lack of better words. We went to the front desk to see what our upgrading options were and were treated to the answer of "that's what you booked!" Not just once but a few times we had this repeated to us. The young girl that checked us in, in the afternoon, was very very UNhelpful. She could care less about helping her paying guests. We went back to our shoebox and found even more annoying things. The furniture is scratched up old stuff, there's not even enough room to open up a full size suitcase even though they have a luggage rack they have folded in the closet that protrudes out into the the room. There is NO bar fridge! HUH !?!WHAT?!? There is no dresser either...This place is strange for a HOTEL ?!? The outside corridor is built from wood not concrete and so it echoes everyone's foot steps, voices and luggage wheels as they go by outside, literally 4 feet from the edges of the outer bed. This place was cheaply built and you can hear it...and everything! The tv cable system they have is by far the worst I've ever seen in any hotel. The system reacts so slow to buttons pushed on the remote that you press it again and then it finally reacts and goes 2 or 3 past where you really wanted it. The tv channel guide just tells you what station it is...come on people it's 2016, you can't tell me what programs are on!!!! And to top it all off the very first thing in the tv menu before the regular channel guide is porn!!!! That you or your child can go right into?!? Huh ?!? Come on ! This hotel was a nightmare! Do not stay here! You will be very disappointed!
I guarantee it !

This hotel is in a nice location as you are able to just walk anywhere in town you would need to go. The hot tub is very cool looking, not very 'hot' though. The room itself was nice, it gave you that cozy cottage feel. The queen rooms don't have a mini fridge or anything which is quite disappoint if you're staying for more than one night like we were and are unable to keep anything chilled. The lighting in the rooms and even the bathroom is awful, quite dim and because people are walking past your rooms outside all the time leaving the blinds open is not much of an option. The staff were friendly enough, and the continental breakfast was decent as long as you like waffles/cereal. It wasn't anything incredible but it wasn't the worst hotel I've stayed at either. Easy to find a deal on it, I would recommend for families travelling through the area.

Hotel is attractive, nicely decorated and reasonably centrally located. You can walk to downtown easy enough. On the down side there are innumerable half levels and staircases making it a pain. Most importantly a room supposedly for 4 was minuscule. Beds were ridiculously short- even my 11 year old daughters feet were hanging off the end. No room for luggage, no cloths storage and to move around 3 of the 4 needed to stay on the bed. Claustrophobic!

Spend the christmas here with my husband, ask for the 'mountain view room' but didn't get one. Staffs are friendly here and they have a 'underground' hot spring which is very cool. Room is in the average level.

Room Tip: Bring you own slipers with you because they ain't got one!
