“Relaxing break away”
Reviewed 21 November 2017 for a stay in November 2017

I had a fantastic stay at the cottage it was very homely and relaxing. The cottage is well equipped it had everything we needed. Loved the location of the cottage great area for walks, the dogs especially loved it. Very clean and tidy and was given all the necessary information for arrival. Just one down side that it didn’t have a fenced off garden, as it would have been ideal for letting the dogs out. However, overall a lovely break away and would definitley go there again.

“Lovely cottage in Peak District”
Reviewed 7 November 2017 for a stay in October 2017

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location. We visited from Australia and found the location excellent for for seeing Chatsworth House, Bakewell and Matlock Bath by car.

The cottage was well equipped and it was wonderful to have some fresh milk on arrival for those essential cups of tea!

We would have loved to use the complimentary wood and coal for the fireplace. However neither of us knew how to use a fireplace or had ever made a fire before as such things are a unique oddity where we come from and we're usually trying to get cool rather than warm. I need to get educated in fireplace etiquette.

I would highly recommend this cottage for a cosy and relaxing stay in the Peak District.

Thank you for the lovely review and so pleased you had a great stay. Even if you didn’t come to grips with the fire!

“Lovely.”
Reviewed 23 October 2017 for a stay in October 2017

The cottage is perfectly situated for walking and is dog friendly. It has everything you need and having an open fire is a bonus. It did rain most of the time sadly but it didn't stop us getting out and about. There was a strange smell however in the kitchen but nowhere else in the property. Some lovely goodies left for us - thank you.
