This was my fifth vacation at Sea Garden, this year I was in a suite with my daughter and two grandsons both teenagers.
Over the years Sea Garden has made many improvements, free internet, big one!!
While we were there, new pillows were put in all rooms, they do listen and obviously read reviews and work on the issues.
The place is older property, but is immaculate every day they are busy painting cleaning
Weeding grounds are beautiful.
We bought the Breakfast coupons, the Buffett was great, variety, fresh, omelette station
where you could get anything made any way you wanted.
Roman the food and beverage manager was always asking if their was anything you wanted that was not there just ask and he would do his best to see it was added.
He even came round the pool asking if we were happy with food, drinks.
I like that you can walk out of hotel always find a chair at the pool and walk right onto the beach. The Joy Squad kept us entertained all day long with crafts games for all ages.
Check in went very smooth, Cecelia front desk manager always helpful, in fact they all did a great job. No long waits check out a breeze.
Buses right outside door as well as many great restaurants a short walk over to the Marina.
I expect to be back again next year it is my winter home away from home.
It would be nice if they brought back All Inclusive especially if you have teenagers or kids, or offered it as an option instead of Coupons.
There are things on this website that need updating I don't know who does that but a few things are incorrect like paying for internet. It is Free.
Anyway we had a wonderful time, and will certainly return.

I am a frequent reviewer so started this trip with keeping a running list of things so report back. Here's what I found: We purchased this week long stay as part of a package deal on Expedia. When arriving at the hotel we were immediately greeted and check in process was easy. You are given bracelets that "beep" you into your room which was wonderful so we didn't have to carry room key cards around or worry about the magnet getting cleared. The rooms were very clean and simple. Our house keeper Silvia left little notes and did creative things with towels and curtains that made it a little extra special. The pool and swim up bar was never over crowded and there were enough chairs and umbrellas to go around. We ate breakfast in the on site restaurant which was always delicious. They have traditional Mexican breakfast as well as things for the less adventurous gringos. At the swim up bar, Julio was always helpful and smiling and went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of. Cesar at the bar inside was also very professional and quick. We sat on the patio right out aide at night and could enjoy drinks while listening to the waves on the beach. We attended multiple water aerobics classes with Joanna and Tony and they were so good at making the workouts fun! Joanna was a sweet soul who upon a random and far fetched request, did everything she could and helped make it possible! Natalie taught a dance class that was fun mainly in part to getting to try out the different moves, I would say doing it in the shade could be a better plan for next time. The activities were not pushed on you and they were easy to join, making the groups feel more like a little community. The life guard ( I didn't ask his name, but he was the more built of the two that were there) was so helpful providing us information on the sea turtle nesting when we asked. He even came to find us pool side to let us know that there was a sea turtle who had just come ashore to nest! It was one of my bucket list items and was so amazing to get to see natures beauty so close up!
I literally couldn't find anything wrong with our stay. I looked! Daily! They even put little stamps in the sands to perfect the minute details. My favorite part of our stay was the staffs greeting, when saying hello or good bye, they touched their hands to their heart. Something so small made them seem much more sincere and connected. The staff seemed to genuinely like where they work.

Did not know this hotel is Time Share Treated poorly after refusing to attend presentation. Beds and pillows were hard. Food was terrible. Stuck in hotel zone with very little to do and staff unwilling to assist. Would never stay here again.

Where to start, first off, Trip Advisor did not say anything about this hotel being a part of the Vidanta group. With that said, upon getting off the plane we were bombarded by Vidanta sales folks who of course began with offering a ride to the resort as part of the Vidanta group. That in of itself was not a bad thing.
As for the hotel itself, we were expecting a relaxing low key stay, enjoying the ocean and pool. This was definitely not the case. The music was playing nearly 24 hours a day and the Joy Center at the pool, kept activities and more music going throughout the day, providing water polo, pingpong, bingo, etc. Way to much activity for a relaxing stay.
On a good point, the staff was good, room service above average, and housekeeping went out of their way to make the rock hard bed softer by providing several foam pads. If I was to give an overall rating it would be just below average. The room did not even have a coffee maker nor a small fridge, and only one ice machine for the entire complex which was always empty.
I will say this, the weather was GREAT !

Room tip: Ask for an ocean view and expect a rock hard bed, also no coffee maker or fridge in rooms.

Has anybody been in 2016 and knows if wifi is free. It was in March 2015.
The price is ridiculous I am thinking of going back wifi a must have, It is a great place but wifi always a contention and always at the top of complaints. In today's world who does not need wifi
Contacting hotel is hopeless they never answer even e mailing to ask hopeless. If it wasn't for staff convenience to beach I would look elsewhere.
