Enjoyed the food at this restaurant for a special birthday dinner! The staff was friendly and efficient, the atmosphere was elegant, and the food was outstanding! I will definitely return--not just for special occasions, but for another wonderful dinner!

this is my favourite restaurnat on San Valentine day.
I coming here for several years, always on Sant Valentine day and each time is a pleasure to have dinner here. All staff is very hospitable throughout the evening, the food is very good and the portions are never exaggerated; the dish is well presented and very well cared for.
Also the place is very well kept and welcoming.
The relationship quality \ price is good.

I've been here another time (the second) for a business lunch. We had cruditè and fresh fish: really excellent and kindly served.
The dessert was a surety!
Great job guys!!!

My boyfriend and I were very excited to go to this restaurant after having read great reviews here on tripadvisor. This restaurant was a mixed bag and we could certainly believe it might be great on a less busy night.

There was one waiter who spoke English very well and was attentive and fantastic until the restaurant began to fill up and he just didn't have the time to attend to us. This was understandable but the woman who came around from time to time in his place was not an acceptable replacement. She spoke no English but we could've gotten by in Italian, she would take our order, smile, nod, and disappear. Nothing would happen for an hour. The most egregious instance was when we finished our first bottle of wine and ended up not having a second one despite having ordered it over an hour before planning to leave. By the time someone came by to see how we were we had changed our minds and were just tired and wanted to go home. That said, we went on a Friday night and there was not a single empty table.

Reservations are a must and should be made days in advance for the weekend. Prepare to be disappointed even so since some weekends seem to be booked weeks in advance. We ran into this a few times.

My boyfriend had a steak and I had the lobster pasta. The steak was okay. They didn't ask how we wanted it cooked and it came out medium when we would have asked for medium rare. The lobster pasta was a little overcooked and too creamy for my taste with the presentation a little over done. My tuna tartare arrived with passion fruit on top, raw scampi to the side, and a lemon sorbet. I was not expecting anything but the tartare but the scampi was a bit fishy tasting (and not in a normal raw scampi way) while the salt grinder didn't work and made an annoying squeaking sound. Since it was impossible to get any of the wait staff once the restaurant filled up we had a dinner with no salt.

Despite all of this we are going to go back. The atmosphere was great, the overly ornate decor is actually great for an intimate dinner and would be good for a group as well. The lighting is lovely and until the restaurant filled up, the service was flawless. We would recommend going early or late in their opening hours. We plan on taking my boyfriend's parents sometime because we really do hope that we were unlucky with the service.

It is reasonably priced for the food - our meal was around 100 euro for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, and 1 bottle of wine.
