“Nice atmosphere”

We squeezed ourselves into the outdoor section on an evening which promised rain, the inside being fully booked. Luckily the rain held off.
The owner speaks Dutch (he is Dutch) English, French and German, and he needed all four to deal with the clientele.
The atmosphere was lovely, with little lights and candles everywhere. As previous reviewers have said, there were children, but they were very cute, and very well behaved.
The food was good, especially the desserts. We had a lemon and pistachio tart with verbena ice cream, absolutely delicious.
It made a lovely change from the usual bistro fare, and I would recommend it, but I strongly suggest you book ahead.

It was a really good diner even if the chef missed some parts in the plates. Good service and awesome view on the countryside. What a pity they accept dogs at the table !!! The table behind us was with à big dog moving and barking all the time. The food was good but we spent an unpleasant moment because of the dog.

Nice place, good location. Evening a la carte menu offers 5 choices per starter, main and dessert course for e30. This would be fine if they had them! My wife and her sister ordered The Tuna, but were informed it had sold out. They then chose the Salmon. Thirty minutes later, we were eating our very nice starters when we were informed they had also run out of salmon. The only option now for them, as they do not eat meat, was a substitute cod offered, hardly the quality of tuna or salmon.
My brother and law and I had the filet de boeuf which was nice, but accompanied by cold rice and salad which would not have been our choice. For drinks, I tried to order a Panache (shandy) but they had no lemonade! All in all a bit disappointed....

Dinner with friends at this great restaurant was a most enjoyable evening. The food and wine were top class and the welcome from the owners very friendly. Service was efficient and friendly also. I came away having thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place. Hence a five star review

Always friendly, superb food and a picturesque setting. Couples or families young or old, this would suit everyone.
