We have traveled extensively in Mexico and this hotel was one of the best deals for the money we have stayed at. We booked it for $50 USD per night and it was very close to all the best attractions and very modern and clean.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were travelling with our dog and, even though they don't accept pets, they offered us the option to leave him right next door. The evening receptionist is a very nice guy!
The rooms are small but very tastefully decorated. The AC works as a heater for the winter nights.
Very recommended

We stayed 4 nights at Casa Jose Maria Hotel to enjoy Morelia. The staff has been very nice and friendly. The hotel has no private parking - which we had forgotten to check - but we were allowed to park our motorcycle in the entrance hall. The hotel is located at a very short distance from the historic center which makes it very convenient, especially at night to have a nice dinner in close restaurants with live music.

Friendly staff, beautiful courtyard where our 2-year-old grandson could wander safely. Breakfast was good though service was rather slow. We paid 30 pesos for the full breakfast; continental breakfast was included. They helped us arrange a good but costly private van for our family of 8 for a 2-hour trip.

Room Tip: The quieter rooms are further away from the street. All rooms are on main floor.

Friendly and helpful staff and just a few blocks away from Centro Historico. The place is clean and not noisy from street traffic. Lots of places to visit on foot from here. Breakfast is the only meal served here but you always take a short walk to Plaza de Las Rosas and enjoy outdoor dining.
