Description: We are a social enterprise cafe run by Rosemarkie Amenities Association set in a nice green field right beside a sandy beach. We are a short walk from the nearest on street parking over a wee bridge. Great beach for rock-pooling, paddling and dolphin-spotting. Our young trainee staff learn to make simple food well: home-made soup, cheese toasties, hot drinks, salads. We have very naughty cakes and lovely ice-cream. We are not the Ritz and we can't do much about the weather but we have a nice wee exhibition about the local area which is free, walks leaflets, maps and our staff are all local. This year's profits will contribute to the replacement of our seaside tennis courts. Donations very welcome! We are open until 3.30 daily until early November when we go down to Friday, Saturday and Sunday instead. Come and see us soon!

A coffee in here on a cold windy day was very welcome. Open airy sea facing building with small exhibition room offered a friendly harbour from the icy wind this weekend. People come here to chat with friends, or at the end of a coastal walk. All profits are ploughed back into the community. Recommended.

Went there recently on a really cold day to get a hot drink and maybe a piece of cake. Had a lovely coffee and a great homemade piece of cake. We arrived to the area the day before and has vehicle problems. We enquired about bike hire to try and get around the Black Isle but unsurprisingly they were not available (well it was mid winter!). However a really kind lady who worked in this community run cafe offered us the use of her and her husbands bikes. Sometimes people really move you with their kindness. The already lovely experience was added to. Visit this great little cafe as it has good information, food and drink

The cafe is right on the beach and offers good home-cooked food with excellent cakes and light snacks for lunch. It is a good place to stop after a bracing beach walk and has plenty of tables and seating outside within yards of the sea. The views over the sea and its wildlife are astounding. Service is very friendly and prompt. Seating inside is limited but who cares when the outside has so much to offer?

Wonderful attentive staff. Good menu options although limited and great coffee. Playground to keep the kids occupied and great views with a chance of spotting dolphins.
