I came to San josé del cabo with 22 of my friends and family and I stayed here with my wife while our friends stayed at the way more expensive hotels and resorts in the area. Everyone agreed we had gotten a bargain. Even though we make our own coffee in the room and go eat out or grab something fast from the huge store across the street. They even have a nice Cafe restaurant by the pool here with very affordable prices. All my friends and family agreed that I had the biggest room and they paid maybe 5-10 times more a night at the other hotels and the Ziva and other resorts
. This place is so open and fresh. The pool area is beautiful and pool is big enough to swim laps. Now to the best part. This place has the most awsome staff!! Everyone from the sweetest cleaning staff to the janitor Roberto who is always outside cleaning and watering the plants and is always smiling when you meet him, and the front desk crew is totally awesome and helpful. If anyone has a complain Javier and Daniel takes it with a smile and resolves the situation. Seems like everyone that works here enjoys their job and totally belong in the service branch. Sometimes we forget to apriciate what hotel staff do for customers, so I wanted to add a little bit of appreciation for the greatest service I got

There are workers building next door. A little scary and too noisy.
I was forced to wake myself up every day no later than 8am, due to the noise.
Sheets are only changed every two days, that's what the janitor said.
Freezing cold swimming pool.

Dear Guest,

We are so sorry for any inconvenience. Yes, we are indeed renovating the hotel, we try not to disturb our guest as much as possible.

We clean our rooms daily, but if you stay for a long period, sheets are changed every two days. With this small gesture we help to protect the environment.

Best regards.

The hotel is comfortable the price paid was perfect for the rooms. We did not try the AC with ventilator was enough. The kitchenette was ok to prepare breakfast and lunch the suite was ok furniture old but good enough, supermarket just in front that was great, the pool is really big and clean. The ladies cleaning the rooms were really nice definitely i will recommend the hotel if you don't want to spent lot of money and you want to have great time

I loved it and I'm planning to go back. I paid 2688 pesos (cash) for 3 nights ($190 CAD). There is a nice pool and I was alone! All suites have a little kitchenette, so I was having breakfast in my room.

Perfect location. Facing the grocery store and at 5 min to the beach. There are good restaurants everywhere.

There was just a few things that didn't work but this is Mexico! The first few days, I didn't have internet in my room; I needed to be close to another building or the lobby. So, if you really want Wi-Fi try it and if it doesn't work, ask to switch building. My safe wasn't working because the battery was dead. Even if I mentioned it, they didn't do anything. And finally I was unable to lock my door from the inside!

The staff was amazing, friendly and very helpful. Very nice experience:)

We spent 10 days here in 2014 & decided to come back for 5 weeks because of a couple whom we had met then & were also coming back. It's a great place to stay, very quiet, staff friendly & helpful. The rates are really good if you book for a longer stay. Its convenient location made daily shopping trips for groceries easy, close to town & shopping as well as great restaurants.

Room tip: Nice balcony to sit out and watch the traffic & a small ocean view.
