Dining at Bajo La Luna was one of the highlights of my April trip. I knew it would be good, but it was even better.
The well trained staff works together to provide excellent service. For example, a diner at a nearby table dropped her fork. One staff member immediately picked it up while another member quickly walked up to the table with a tray, presenting the diner with a replacement fork. It was fast and unobtrusive.
The food is just as superb as the service. We started with the polenta fries which were excellent. My dining companion asked for a small dish of pesto on the side as she loves pesto but wanted the chicken dish for her entrée. I had the pasta with pesto. We were both very happy with our choices. After enjoying the flan for dessert, we asked for a slice of cake to take with us. No problem!
Bajo La Luna has a variety of musicians each night. I e-mailed the manager, Luis, in advance of my trip to select a night with guitar music. Angel Legarreta’s playing is wonderful. I just wish I had a CD of his music.; I will try to get one when I am next in Cabo.
I will be returning to Bajo La Luna for well prepared food, perfect service, an amazing atmosphere, and wonderful music.
