The only people giving this resort 5 stars have to be those that are young and interested in partying their whole vacation away. I am older and have been to 5 star resorts and this in no way matches up to those in terms of facilities or service.

I was concerned going into my stay based on some reviews/descriptions but was meeting others at the hotel so I opted to stay even after being offered to switch accommodations to the sister resort, Secrets.

The resort is in a fantastic location if you are looking to take advantage of town and all of the things going on in the marina. That is where the five star rating begins and ends.

Despite being two years old, the facility looks dated and is in need of some upgrading in the common areas. The rooms are ample in size but offer minimal bathroom privacy. The mini bars are supplied with a limited amount of items though a phone call will get you more of what you need. The ironing board was so small, it took 20 minutes to iron an article of clothing. Views from the deck of the marina were good.

The party pool seems to be where everyone gets the best service but the the music was deafening to the point of not being able to have a conversation. Our initial tour of the pool exposed us to a little lewd behavior so we opted for the quiet pool during our stay. The service there was "spotty" at best. There is a roped off beach area for guests but it is very small. If a gym is high on your priority list, run FROM this facility. It was terrible!

I thought the food in all the restaurants was very good although we did opt to eat outside of the resort a couple of times. Kind of defeats the point of all-inclusive but we wanted to experience town also. There is a Mexican restaurant on the grounds but it is not included in all packages and will require extra charges. We did eat there and it was good. I must disclose that my girlfriend and a fellow traveler did get sick from something at the restaurants but we could not zero in on one cause. In addition, several people that we met also caught the "bug". Notification to the staff seemed to fall on deaf ears.

Vendors in town are persistent and can be downright pushy in some cases.

It seems that as you move further away from town, you get nicer accommodations but the distance is the trade-off. If I am going to be farther from town, I am going to want a nicer beach and body of water. The Caribbean certainly offers that over Cabo.

If you are NOT looking for a party atmosphere, stay away from this facility, If you ARE, then this might be the place for you.

Good luck in your searches!

Visited Cabo for the first time with 12 others! The hotel was beautiful! We spent our days at the pool and had impeccable service from our waiter Daniel Sanchez. We had bottle service and requested his area every day. He keeps the drinks coming and the beer cold! I can't wait to go back!

Our first time in Cabo did not disappoint!! And it was largely in thanks to Breathless Cabo San Lucas!

This adults only hotel is situated in the heart of the Marina district. Shopping, restaurants, water activities, and the famous El Arco are right outside your doorstep. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it is modern and relaxing as can be inside. Upon arrival, we were greeted with "Welcome to the Party" along with a glass of champagne and a cold towel to cool off from the Baja humidity.

There are two different towers that make up this resort. One with all rooms overlooking the ocean, and one with all rooms overlooking the bay and marina. We had the marina view and it was still amazing with the city and hills in the background. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Plush bathrobes and slippers are provided. There is also a tablet in the room where it allows you to order room service as well as gives daily information about activities around the resort.

Food was great, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. The room service menu was also great - I suggest getting the salmon! Very tasty!

There are 2 pools on the resort - one in each tower. The marina tower had more of a lounge pool whereas the ocean tower had the party pool. Great music! Great vibe! They had walking drink and food service while you partied by the pool. They were very attentive and quick!

This is a very great resort for the 20 to late 30 somethings wanting to unwind and party. But hey, if you're not in that age range and still want to have fun, party at Breathless!

We picked Breathless because it looked like a party, luxurious, and a good environment - and it was just that! We went during the off season (October) so it was a little less busy, but that did not diminish our experience in the least. Food was amazing, 4 restaurants to try, multiple bars, 24 hour cafe and room service. It's located in a marina so you know the fish is fresh! Seemed like every room had a view of the water.

The staff here really made the trip - they are young, sexy, friendly, and so much fun! There's a dedicated Entertainment Team "E-Team" who throw great foam parties and night time entertainment. Shout outs to Paco, Sergio, Armando, Jennifer, Andrea, Gaston!

Restaurant and wait staff are just as nice and fun - Miguel, Bruno, Daniel, Paulina, Carlos, Gil, Laura, Dalia, Shom, etc! Concierges like Diego and Luis were great too.

Lots of activities during the day - beach volleyball, water aerobics, foam parties, basketball, tequila tastings, contests, etc. My friend won a free massage at the spa in one of the contests! The pub crawl at night was a fun way to see the crazy nightlife of downtown Cabo. Sergio and Paco made sure everyone had a good time.

The only con was the music at the "party pool" was too loud and all around bad. Plays the same playlist over and over and goes back and forth between weird elevator music and the same top 40 songs over and over.

I will definitely come back here on another friends trip! :)

Very clean resort. Great location. Always felt super safe. Vow renewal ceremony was perfect -- thanks Paula for everything. Entertainment on rooftop very good. Main pool was my favorite thanks to Daniel Sanchez our absolutely awesome waiter who made our vacation perfect. There were 13 of us and he took care of us. Be sure to ask for him poolside. We did Xhale club-- rooms seemed the same but we had a higher floor. We will be back!!
