Los Cabos Golf Resort is the perfect get-away for someone who wants to relax and escape the fast-paced world. The grounds are beautiful! The sand is raked daily and cleaned of any detritus that might make it's way into the gardens. There are beautiful flowers surrounding the resort that are maintained, as well. The rooms are beautiful! Cleanliness has never been a concerned and rooms are tidied up daily. The resort is in process of remodeling the rooms from traditional Mexican decor to a more modern feel and that does make us a little sad because we love the traditional Mexican look. The pool area is so relaxing! This isn't a good place for kids...I feel like they might get bored quickly. All the better, because I don't have kids and I come here to relax and escape. The swim-up bar is awesome and bartenders are quick to serve. The bartenders are SO personable and I love talking with them every time we visit. There is a larger pool for swimming and a smaller upper pool at the bar for less extensive movement. There is a hot tub, but we haven't been in it due to not wanting a hot tub experience in the hot weather. There is also a really cool grotto, where you take stairs down to a lower level that is a bit cooler and a small amount of water for wading. It's a great place to curl up with a book and let the waterfall carry the sounds away.
We love Los Cabos because it is quite a ways out of town, away from the busy resort life that is downtown. We will continue to stay at Los Cabos for a long time.

Room Tip: There are a variety of layouts for you to choose from, accommodations for many!

We stayed a week in a large one bedroom unit with a balcony. As others have noted the grounds are immaculate, beautiful flowering bushes, hammocks on the trees, birds, lovely pool area. The staff really seem to care about the resort, always cleaning and maintaining the grounds and rooms. We ate at the restaurant a few times and enjoyed it. There were several groups of spring break college students, no problem with noise and they added a nice vibe to the resort. There is live music Sunday, Monday and Wednesday evenings. The pool is a little deep so not the best place for young children. There is a swim up bar and great bartenders.

Thank you for the fantastic review, we are truly engaged with keeping up with the property and the guest's experience and will be looking forward to having you back soon. On behalf of the staff, we are excited that you enjoyed your experience to the fullest and the addition of the guitar player has been fantastic. A warm hola from Cabos!

This resort is super quiet and relaxing. The accommodations are large with great layouts and at least one balcony. There are flowers everywhere, cacti, and birds. The rooms are cleaned and the staff are friendly. The pool area is clean and the landscaping is beautiful. You can see the ocean from the lobby and some of the rooms, as well as mountain and city views. The Double Eagle restaurant at the hotel has good food but not a lot of variety. The beach is only about a mile away walking from the hotel, and I highly suggest going out and exploring. Even if you take a taxi from downtown near the marina, the fare was only $14 USD. The pool features a swim up bar, but you rarely see anyone in the pool. The drinks are overpriced in my opinion as well, and are not very strong. Overall I would suggest staying here if you want quiet and don't mind commuting to the beach or downtown.

This is what could be called a "desert resort" meaning it isn't on the ocean but abuts a golf course. There are two pools, one of which is heated nicely for the winter season; the other which is more suited for the wamer part of the year. A nice though pricey restaurant (what we are calling "American prices" although that can be said for most of Cabo due to the constant influence of the cruise ships). One must figure out what one is going to do about transportation. One can walk about half a mile down to a bus stop at the Walmart, which is what we did. Cabs are pricey so we stuck to walking and using the very efficient , inexpensive and ubiquitous bus system. The two concierges Geo and Angie, were very helpful. The folks who stay here are friendly, unostentatious, and outgoing. The vibe is very nice. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. Wifi is spotty and generally located in the lobby/pool area. We were happy to find that the studio we were assigned to had a large balcony and a very functional kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our week at the resort

Thank you very much for your review, we appreciate your input and comments. As an off-beach property, we very much care about our guest experience and we provide onsite car rental service at competitive and affordable prices to get around town comfortably although other alternative and inexpensive options are also available. We were happy to read your review and hope to welcome you back whenever your travels bring you back to Los Cabos. It was an honor hosting you!

This place is average. Short distance from the central san lucas and main beaches, however not walkable you will need transportation. The hotel has an odd atmosphere, I felt I was in an apocalypse or intruding on a cult. Thank goodness we had planned many activities within the San Lucas Cabos. Customer service was seem to be confused or did not had enough information for any question (never mind you I'm full bilingual), so lack of English was not the problem. The rooms are comfortable and clean (that's why I credit 2 stars on this review). I only witness a total of 10 people during the day and after 7pm, non.
The restaurant, lack of options in the menu and the food was (meh). I found it very expensive for the type of hotel/resort property they are, for example; coffee $8, toast $8- every room has a kitchenette so perhaps stop at local Wal-Mart and buy your own to make food.
I found this hotel very dry, bored, odd and not kind of happy Cabo atmosphere. For that reason I would not recommend.
