Hacienda Cocina and Cantina offers two entrances, a private entrance with stairs from the beach and the main entrance of the resort after passing through the gate. The resort is inspìred by Mexico’s hacienda culture, the grounds are gorgeous and the open air seating perfectly placed in front of an unbeatable view of Medano beach and Pacific Ocean.

In the words of the owners the restaurant celebrates Mexican cuisine focusing on the traditional dishes from Sea of Cortez. And they do an incredible job of it.

For example the Camarones Diabla consist of jumbo sautéed shrimp, diabla sauce, mozzarella cheese, peppers, grilled pineapple, and spring onion. It comes in a hot stone bowl with a cheesy souplike creation of amazingness called diablo sauce! The shrimp are huge and fresh, marinated in the diablo sauce and accompanied by a side of orange rice. Simply mouth watering.

Sip slowly on the mango margaritas which are made with mezcal. This is a great drink for a very enjoyable night out.

If you are adventurous try out the Churros de la Casa for dessert (AKA Mexican street doughnuts) which come with chocolate and caramel sauces. A delicious end to a great journey into the delights of Mexican cuisine.

Wow, if you want to go to an upper class restaurant and bar in Cabo, this is hands down the place to be. The views are incredible, located right on the beach. We visited for lunch and the soups and salads were great as were the margaritas !

As residents of Cabo been eating at Hacienda for years, but no more. The view is fabulous as is the service, but the new owners have raised the prices so much that it is no longer worth it. We ( 2 adults) spent almost $200 for Easter dinner and we didn’t even have a bottle of wine. The food has always been adequate and sometimes very good, but the moderate prices and view always made up for the deficiencies in the food quality department. Now that they have raised their prices (by almost a third for some things), I can no longer recommend this spot to others. Sad!

We went for lunch when we were in Cabo. The view was amazing and the food was delicious. We had the carnitas sandwich (torta) and the chicken torta sandwich and the table side guacamole. Also had a very delicious mango margarita - which was great. Would definitely come back next time we are in Cabo!

This is a treasure in Cabo San Lucas. It is part of the Hacienda Residences but the restaurant and bar has excellent food at moderate prices. The staff is very nice and happy to see people come in. They treat you like family! I eat here often when I am in Cabo San Lucas.
