greens were in very poor shape, you could see the old hole locations for the past 2 years rental clubs were even worse, very marked up. Worst of all was the smell from the sewage plant. Who puts a sewage plant on a course??? All the beaches in Cabo have great sand but the traps here were full of rocks.

We played every morning here and the second round at one of the many other courses in the Los Cabos area.
This course is a fine layout with 5 sets of tees to meet anyones needs. We enjoy this course. But come here knowing that it does have a few holes where there is a bad odor. It did not bother us, But I can see where it might ruin the round for others.
The Country Club as this course is known as has a very nice practice facility. They rent golf clubs and sell shirts, hats, and other mementos. There is a small bar on the practice range and the cart guys do a great job cleaning the clubs. There is a cart with food and drinks that will pass you several times as you play. Bottled Water is complemntary and in a small ice chest attached to your cart. TIP: The speed of the putts is greatly affected by the sun. The grass grows toward the sun. So if your putt is into the sun the ball will race. If its at your back the ball slows down.
Overall its a lot of fun to play here. But the other courses are so spectacular that unless you play here first you might be disapointed. The early Morning rounds here are very fast. After 9 play seems to slow. Enjoy this course it is fun to play.

Cabo San Lucas Country Club is a nice layout in a terrible situation. The course was destroyed several years ago and when they rebuilt it they had to use sewage water to water the grass. Sadly this causes a stench that is almost unbearable on more than half the holes. It would be a nice place to play without the sewage smell.

I’ve played most courses in Cabo and this is by far the worst course. Several holes play next to a re-claimed water pond and it stinks so bad that you don’t want to even finish the holes. The only reason why I didn’t give it a one star rating is because it is almost a 100 dollars cheaper than most courses in the Cabo area.
