We recently returned from Cabo (June 17-24). Had my list of restaurants to try and included on the list was Maria Corona. I knew it was new and had heard good things about it here on Trip Advisor. We had a rental car and maps so it was easy to find. Parking lot in front is a bonus. Things are slow in Cabo right now. I feel bad for the restaurant and business owners. I went to Maria Corona for dinner with my husband and 2 daughters, aged 18 & 22. We arrived around 9:00pm and there were only 2 other parties there. A quartet was performing and they were excellent. I wish we had gotten there earlier to hear more of the music.

My daughters each ordered a variety of quesadillas. They were small so you could eat 3-4 for your entree and they had about 20 varieties to choose from for 20 pesos each! So less than $5 US for 3 of them. My husband and I each had the Chile Rellenos. The order comes with 2, one filled with beef and the other with cheese. They were excellent. Before dinner my husband and I each had a margarita and they were very good. My husband makes the best ones ever so we are pretty picky and these were very tasty. On the rocks with lots of fresh lime juice. Before the meal came our waiter arrived with 4 very small bowls of a wonderful creamy corn soup "compliments of the chef". A very nice touch. The soup was fantastic and although it was not a regualr menu item my daughters both ordered bowls of it.

The service was fantastic and very friendly. Obviously they were very slow and being a new restaurnat they were really putting their best foot forward. But we really enjoyed our evening there. We would have gone back but we had so many other restaurants to try during our vacation. The prices were very reasonable. Dinner for 4 including 2 drinks was only $52 US. One of the best and most reasonably priced meals on Cabo. Please visit Maria Corona. We need to support this new venture and you will not be disappointed!

From the ambiance, the food, the drinks, and the price this place gets a two thumbs up from us. We had the guacamole prepared at your table, 2 entrees (carne asada and the shrimp and fish), with dessert for about $45 dollars. Will def. go back next time Im in Cabo....
PS: thanks to the service waters, made the restaurant feel like a fine dined experience.

also, you can't see the shrimp I ate it before I took the pics!
