Description: MuRo Named after the two surnames of one of the two guys who own it, Cafe MuRo open in Loreto Street stayed there from May 2010 to recently when it moved to its new venue at 1 San Gabriel St. in the beautiful Barrio del Obraje, just few setos from Fabrica La Aurora. It has been known for the quality of food and friendship of the staff- Cafe MuRo is a prestigious establishment well known for its cozy and homey atmosphere and popularity with locales and foreigners. Many regulars bring out-of-town visitors who want to get a "feel" of Mexican flavors in a not pretentious place. Cafe MuRo is much more a pleasant than the location might suggest. Not much to look at from the street, until you spy the delicacies within. The menu consists of simple, well-cooked, fresh and traditional Mexican food. Wonderful home-bread and soups, salad, good-sized portions, and fair prices make it a great place for everybody. Staff is friendly and helpful. When you come to MuRo, you are guaranteed a good meal and friendly service everybody time. Highlights include breakfast all day, a salad to die for and strong Mexican cofee that will knock you out. We assure you that once you are sitting in Cafe MuRo enjoying its food and service, you might want to stay longer that you originally tought! See you soon!

The place is apart from the city noise, and is a great stop for having breakfast or brunch in SMA! It has awesome food options and really generous plates, great service and it is a super cheap eat! Couldn't have enjoyed it more.
Also has great city views from the terrace!
Recommended stop in San Miguel.

Went with friends to this very attractive location on our street. Brunch was great ; all the egg dishes were well prepared, and the coffee was great with very attentive service. Unfortunately we only got to go once, even though there were a few other dishes we wanted to try!

6 of us went mid day on Sunday and had our choice of both breakfast and lunch menus. The offerings go far beyond the traditional and usual Mexican food options. Everything was super fresh, hot, prepared with talent in the kitchen. The portions were ample.
The decor is natural and open with some views of the mountains in the distance. The location is near popular Fabrica de Aurora Art and Design complex.
The service was pleasant and timely. We all will be back!

Nice view from the top floor and nice to get out of the tourist center. It's in a residential area. Refills on aguas frescas! Decor was very chic and prices a little high but it seemed like food was quality.

Muro is a beautiful and upscale looking restaurant with very reasonable prices. I loved my Eggs Benedict Muro, a delicious dish with very good hollandaise sauce, bacon and sausage with a side salad. The unlimited refills on coffee are a very nice touch. The views from the 3rd floor roof deck are spectacular. It is a little difficult to find and paring is limited. One might want to take a taxi for the first visit. Hours are 9am-4pm, closed Wednesdays.
