Casa Mia Suites was the perfect place to stay in San Miguel. They have a beautiful garden courtyard and we had our own "suite" with a bedroom, bathroom, gorgeously decorated living room and full dining room/kitchen, plus glass doors onto the courtyard. It is painted very nicely in bright colors with lovely Mexican art, tiles, and decorations. The staff was very helpful and the concierge was available at all times to call for a taxi, etc. The location is ideal, very close to several restaurants and shops and a short walk to the central plaza. We will definitely stay at Casa Mia again! Gracias!

Room Tip: Some rooms open onto the courtyard, others are up some stairs with their own small terrace.

We chose this place as we are a couple with two adult children. Our suite had two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two twins. There was one bath, a small, full kitchen, a living room and a dining room. Nice and spacious and we never felt cramped. Each bedroom had doors that opened to a small balcony with screens, so it was nice for fresh air.

The location is ideal: just up the street from the main part of town. There is a rooftop patio with great views. The staff is super helpful but their English is limited.

Ask for a suite away from the street, which is noisy at times. If we had any criticisms, they are minor. We had to ask for toilet paper twice, as the housekeeper didn't leave extra. Also, the king sheets are ill-fitting and come off the bed during the night. Kind of annoying. Also, there is construction going on and it's noisy during the day.

We will stay there again, for sure.

We spent 6 nights here. We had a one bedroom suite. It had a living area full kitchen dining area that held 4 and bathroom. Great courtyard and only two blocks to the main jardine. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. You are close to the cathedral in fact sitting on the couch we looked out the windows to the cathedral so you do here the bells ring. But that is part of the charm of this city. There is no restaurant but you have your own kitchen and are surrounded by great restaurants. No elevator so be ready to climb stairs.

Room Tip: We were in 14 and had a great city view

I wish I could come up with a negative comment for three reasons...to help the owner to improve, to help you as a traveler, or better yet, to prevent you from staying there so when I return rooms are available....lol.

The location allows easy access to everything in San Miguel yet is far enough away to not hear the noise from the weekend revelers. The staff is great. The rooms are clean and roomy. The internet worked well and is high speed. The shower is hot and has sufficient pressure. The appliances are all relatively new and work great.

Although my guess is that it is not needed very often in SM, I do wish the rooms had a/c. It was hitting 80 degrees when we were there and the rooms were getting a bit stuffy and warm.
