Description: Hank's is the new name of the famous Harry's Restaurant with 12 years of history in Mexico, since 1999 in San Miguel Allende and since 2004 in Queretaro. Hank's is a bit of Louisiana and its "French Quarter", which offers the traditional Cajun cuisine from New Orleans. The atmosphere at Hank's is incomparable, you can enjoy a delicious dinner or spend a pleasant evening in the bar, drinking a margarita, a martini or a devastating hurricane while listening to jazz music.

This is our go-to place when we crave consistently decent food, even if a bit pricey. For the most part, the service is good. But if you want peace and quiet, this isn't the place for you starting around happy hour, when it becomes infested with drunk old gringos who try to act 30 years (or more) younger than they really are. However, if you eat here anytime until around 4 pm, it is usually a delight. We come with the entirely family, and enjoy it. Good steaks and burgers and pretty decent seafood and vegetarian options.

Two of us arrived for an evening meal on a Friday evening. It was not overly crowded, so no excuse for poor results - the food arrived lukewarm to cold. One dish (shrimp) was mostly dough and tasted too 'fishy' (as in old). Service was fine but food was pretty miserable. We decided to give it one more try, on a weekend for lunch. The eggs benedict had some horrid sauce that was NOT hollandaise, and again, the food was not hot. One egg was nearly dry it was cooked so long, the other very runny. The other dish I did not try but was told it was disappointing and tasteless. During the second visit chatted with 3 locals who issued warnings about the bar and the many problems there, giving us advice on what not to do. The bottom line was that we figured it was not a bar that we'd return to.

Great quality, originality, value and courteous service in a very relaxing atmosphere, only steps away from San Miguel's world famous main plaza!

The food was so so. The drinks were so so. The fun atmosphere and fantastic music were the highlight of going here/ The 2 for 1 special starts exactly on time and the waitress will not notify you that a special will be starting. I was surprised about the cavalier attitude of the waitress but the music made up for her attitude.

We were a little tired getting into San Miguel. The food was tasty , fun music , nice menu selections and very affordable. The decor is eclectic and Greek salad was among the best I've had !
