Very good service. The continental breakfast is OK, but you can buy additional Huevos Mexicanos if you want. Very close to the famous El Porvenir seafood restaurant and you can walk to it through a high-class neighbourhood.

This is a small, no frills hotel located in a convenient part of town. The room was clean. It is not a new hotel, but it is well conserved. I recommend it for a quick stay, such as a business trip. Finally, I have to say that the breakfast included was very basic. It was not expensive, which is why you basically pay what you get. Free parking available.

Room tip: Since it is on the main street of the city, I recommend rooms in the back of the hotel

The pool is nice. The room is good with an iron in, nice ilumination, good shower and clean bathroom. BUT if you are there for business the wifi is T E R R I B L E, completely useless and frustrating to use. Nowadays a hotel without a good Internet service is not an option to me. It is a shame for any hotel to offer so bad wifi connection.

By the way the safety box in the room was broken just as well as the coffee machine.

Try it at your own risk when staying for business.

Room tip: Not far from the main building. Probably the wifi signal is stronger there.

This is a really nice, fairly new hotel. It is close to restaurants and relatively close to banks if you need to exchange money. The rooms look just as pictured on the website. It does have secure parking with a security guard as well as a restaurant on site. We paid the equivalent of $55 US, so the quality for the exchange is quite good, especially in comparison to the prices we paid in Texas for older motel/hotel rooms. The staff were very helpful, but none of them spoke English. It is fairly easy to find the street the hotel is located on from Hiway 180 and also easy to get back onto the highway. Tampico is full of American business, and if you are hungry for U.S. food, there is a Kentucky Fried Chicken just next door. Although we didn't go to the beach while there, the beach is fairly accessible by car.
