Delicious pizzas with pints served with a friendly smile on the veranda after a long day hiking in the Slieve Blooms. Staff amazingly helpful. Plenty outdoor space. Heaven!
Definitely the only pub worth visiting in Kinnitty..

We have been there after a long hike and been very happy to find a place outside which served food on a Saturday afternoon. The bar and place was nice and the seats in the sun as well.
The only food available were Pizza, which we didn't mind. However on the question if there is a way to put some spicy peppers on one of our pizza, the guy said, that's not possible. This should ring all alarm bells, but we couldn't believe what was coming.
After 15 min we got all our pizza and they were the frozen one from Dr Oetker which they have put in the stone oven. Honestly this makes the food not better and left us speechless.
I personally don't mind when the pub is doing this, but taking up to 13 Euro for a 2.99 Euro Pizza is a pure rip-off. The drinks are ok the atmosphere as well but the food is a no-go, and please don't talk out of this with Corona.
So whoever reads that, don't go there, if you're hungry.

Giltraps was way better than the slieve bloom bar. Slieve bloom has bad atmosphere and is just a load of old men. Giltraps was fun and lively. The owner of the slieve bloom gave me bad vibes. Percy is some man tho. Nothing beats a pint at percys. great place for some craic agus ceoil. Failte !
