Giltraps was way better than the slieve bloom bar. Slieve bloom has bad atmosphere and is just a load of old men. Giltraps was fun and lively. The owner of the slieve bloom gave me bad vibes. Percy is some man tho. Nothing beats a pint at percys. great place for some craic agus ceoil. Failte !

Having lived in Offaly for many years, I couldn't believe I had not visited Giltraps before now. Such a welcoming and cosy pub offering great drinks and food in a wonderful location. You can also stay in the townhouse or Glamping area, hire bikes and go for great walks in the Slieve Blooms. Definitely one to visit when in Offaly!
