Description: On the top of Barbaresco hill, in the central Via Torino, leading to the mediaeval tower, you will come to the tiny entrance of Antine restaurant. Legend has it that the first floor of this ancient house was once a prison. Today you will be welcomed into an atmosphere of elegance and unusual warmth transmitted by the surroundings. The intimate room seats twenty-five at large, well-distributed tables, and you will be drawn to the exquisite attention to detail and the simple grace of the furnishings while feeling pampered by the smooth, courteous service.

Antine is worth a venture to experience. Food is excellent, service is attentive and the ambience places you in the center of Barbaresco with views of the famous vineyards surrounding you. Previously a one star Michelin before the previous chef departed.....this one will soon return to Michelin star status!

it is already some time ago that I gave an opinion on Tripadvisor, but now I am back because this restaurant really deserves it. Outstanding quality in terms of combinations of ingredients and tastes, the techniques used and creativity and the service was also top class. In the last two weeks I have visited 5 Michelin starred restaurants, but none was as good as this one. Not cheap, but in terms of price/ quality absolutely ok. If you looking for something special, go and visit this place!

Barbaresco is a beautiful old castle town so this gem of a restaurant was the best surpise we could have had. Our area expert wine guides recommended it (Rob & Leslie are well known in Piemonte) and this was one of the best meals we had during the trip! The starters are incredible, the presentation is amazing, the taste is fantastic and the entire experiece is just....magical
Absolutely a must visit restaurant while in Piemonte

Our host at our villa recommended this restaurant although she did not indicate it was a Michelin star restaurant but that it was expensive. The 4 of us had their Table d'hôte which was excellent. The appetizers were all very tasty and the presentation was out of the ordinary. The main courses were very tasty and well prepared. The desserts, like the appetizers, were many and again presentation was outstanding. The wine list was comprehensive which included excellent local wines. The staff were very attentive. Definitely, a dining experience that we all enjoyed and still talk about.

We had lunch with a friend of ours who lives in Neive.
He recommended this restaurant, new owners and chef.
We had been there before in 2007 at that time one star Michelin.
The star was lost a new chef took over, the interior is minimalistic decor in light colors.
The menucard is different from before more experimental approach , we had a starter and a dish ,later espresso.
The food was extremely delicious almost artistic on the dish.
Our friend had shellfish, I had carpaccio and my wife pasta, everything was very tasty and carefully spiced, a real treat.
We had Champagne Cedric Bouchard BdN 2007, a great partner with the food.
The intro started as fireworks then the food and another firework with espresso, we were all stunned, this chef is heading for the stars no doubt.
The pictures are for foodies.
If you need something different go there you will not regret it.
