Good Stay over the Thanksgiving Holiday. We wanted to get in some early skiing this year as we took a year off skiing last year due an achilles injury. Beaver Creek opens early. Check in was good and they upgraded us to slightly larger room so that was appreciated. Skis were taken to the Ski valet. Room was clean and everything in order as you would expect from the "Park Hyatt" brand of hotel. This hotel is right on the mountain and great for a ski in out hotel. Ski Valet is conveniently located right outside and easy to access to get your boots and Skis. We knew it would be a roll of the dice this early and we were right as the ski area only had 1 run open. The Ski Apres is excellent at the Park Hyatt as they have fire pits and great seating.

Would have rated this resort 5 stars however the Spa area that is Free with your stay is pretty poor. Small hot tub and pool ...water looked terrible so we did not even get in. They want to charge you an extra $21 to use the good Spa hot tubs...so I asked then why am I paying a $25 resort fee on top of the room charge....still do not get that and front desk could not even explain it....oh well. 2nd issue was price of drinks in the hotel. Ordered 2 vodkas on the rocks the lobby bar, not even a good pour and bill was $37+ tip so $42 for 2 small vodkas. With that we decided to eat and drink else where where prices were little cheaper but you also got a bartenders pour on drinks. The little cafe/market was also high priced (large coffee was $4.50) so I went to Starbucks every morning instead of the cafe/market in the hotel.

All in all I would stay here again as the positives outweighed these issues, but I think the hotel is losing revenue by not pricing food and drinks at par with what other locations in the square area are charging.

Our stay here was perfect! The hotel is ski in and ski out. It is located in the village walking distance to pretty much everything! We stayed in a Park Fireside Suite which was perfect for my wife my son and I. We did many hikes right out the back door of the property. We will stay here again.

This has been a tradition for our family for a very, very long time. This is one of my fondest memories to stay here and start our Christmas traditions. If you stay in Beaver Creek this is the location to be at.

Loved the convenience of having our skis and boots available daily as you are walking out to the slopes, although due to the warmer weather, only 2 slopes were open at the time. Everyone was offered warm chocolate chip cookies at 3pm each day given out by the baker as you come down the slopes, to making s’mores by the fire or just relaxing there with a drink. All of these things made our Thanksgiving trip to Beaver Creek spectacular! It is a place right out of our favorite hallmark Christmas movie. The village with ice skating rink was fabulous. There was a chocolate chip cookie competition and the best part of our stay was the incredible tree lighting festival held on Friday evening. Fireworks, ice skaters, Christmas music and of course Santa was there We can’t wait to return!
