This hotel is in need of a remodel. Our room had peeling wallpaper to start. The toilet rocked around when you sat on it. Luckily no leaks. The carpet on the baseboard was missing in some areas. The back door to the rear parking lot would not lock so anyone could get in. The design of of the hotel is kind of strange. The front desk/breakfast area is not attached to the main building with the rooms. If it is raining or snowing you have to go outside to get to it.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else.

Got into town around 1am after a long day. Check in was smooth and the guy at the front desk (owner?) was very nice. Hotel was very clean and had nice mountain decor. The price was much more reasonable than others in the area. Breakfast was typical - eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels. My only complaint is that housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am and woke us up. Checkout isn't until 11am and we had the "Do Not Disturb" tag on the door. Could not get back to sleep after that as the noise in the hall was too loud. We sure could have used that extra sleep after a very long day and another very long day of driving ahead. Overall, I would stay here again.

It's a budget hotel. There's a Sheraton right across the street that is plush and definitely "Vail-ish" in it's interiors and design but it's twice the money. Needed a place to crash just for the night. Didn't care about amenities. Just a good comfortable bed.

Rooms are large and spacious. A little dated, but clean and comfortable. A flat screen TV on each side of the "suite" rooms. Breakfast is your normal chain hotel breakfast food. eggs, sausage and some bread for carbs. If you're traveling from Denver to Grand Junction, it's a great spot in between to get some rest.

Large room and comfortable bed. Plumbing needs urgent
repair - rm127. Strongly suggest Kuerig coffee machines
in room. They are "throw away" inexpensive now. Great location
close to all amenities. Will definitely consider this location in
the future.

We drove a lot of hours for a doctor's appointment at the Steadman clinic in Vail. The hotel was just a short 15 minute drive from the doctors and hospital. After a long drive and many hours at the doctor getting tested, we were hoping and praying for decent room.
The staff were wonderful starting at the front desk all the way through to the cleaning staff and breakfast workers. The little gal at the front desk with the nose ring was especially sweet and helpful.
Onto the hotel and room. Let me just say you can tell the maintenance staff really care about their building. I couldn't find anything, and I mean anything that wasn't in fantastic condition and I really looked knowing I would be writing this review. As well as knowing I would probably be visiting this hotel again soon. Also the king size bed, bedding, fridge, microwave and coffee maker and all the provisions were perfectly wonderful. Many thanks to Comfort Inn for hiring staff that really care about their building and the jobs they do.
