We stayed at Rosa del Viento for 7 nights from December 26, 2015 including New Years Eve. The reception staff were fantastic. They would organise taxis, reserve day tours and make dinner reservations for us. The restaurant staff were also so nice and helpful. On a few days we had tours that were picking us up before breakfast had started and they would pack us up a breakfast pack to take on bus with us. Room was great, clean and very comfortable and we were in a garden room upstairs which had a lovely outlook and only a few steps to restaurant, beach and reception. Beach was beautiful and although some seaweed, the wonderful staff would rake up every day.
Breakfast was included and was very good as was all the meals we had in restaurant and beach drink and food service was great too. I was worried from reading other reviews that this property was a the end of beach road, but that didn't worry us at all when there, nice for this busy time of year to be a little out of the way but in no way missed out on anything. Taxis readily available for night time and during day was great walk or bikes available. Highly recommend this property and last thing the owner came and introduced himself and made sure everything was going well which we really appreciated this personal touch.

This is a lovely hotel located at the far end of the Tulum beach. Very quiet and peaceful, loads of sunbeds available, nice simple rooms, and what's most important - incredibly beautiful sunrises every morning! I have stayed there twice in the last two years and loved it, but unfortunately during my second stay in January 2016 I was unpleasantly surprised when i found out that a party-style hotel was opened right next door - on our second night and most of the following day at Rosa we kept hearing loud music and beats from that party place, which ruined the peaceful vibe of the place for us. I can't believe they are allowed to do that in a place like Tulum where people go for peace and quiet. Overall I would highly recommend Rosa, and there are only two things they could potentially improve on: 1. Waiting times at the restaurant - for us it varied between 40 min to 1 hour, even for breakfast which is included in the price of the room. 2. Shower pressure - to be honest, I am not sure if anything can be done about it considering the location of the hotel, but each time I ended up with loads of shampoo left in my hair.

Room Tip: Go for the ocean front ones, the view is amazing!

This was a real treat for us. The rooms felt very private with foliage covering the porch and rooms. Staff was very friendly. Due to the rain, we only spent two days on the beach and it was beautiful. Staff was available to take an order but were not pushing you to order.

We did not fully take advantage of all the services we should have.

We didn't realize that the restaurant was Italian so that was a little disappointing...we wanted Mexican. Still, breakfast was good and anything we ordered was good.

Our original plans were to bike but this hotel is a little far. We rented a car due to the weather and it was worth it.

I would stay here again!

The hotel is really set in a beautiful location, right at the end of the main Tulum strip. We hadn't realised it was quite so far away from other hotels / restaurants but for us it wasn't an issue and actually preferred the tranquil / quiet setting of Rosa del Viento. It is a 20 minute walk at least to other restaurants (and it is very dark at night - just FYI) but you can get taxis readily available from the street - so really not an issue.

Staff are lovely, very helpful and polite and can't do enough for you. The rooms are lovely and we had a particularly beautiful view for. Our balcony which faced directly onto the beach. Really comfy bed, air con and great bathroom shower (FYI water is often cold so don't leave too late to shower!).

The food is good and the inc breakfast offers a wide selection of freshly made omelettes, pancakes, fruit and the more traditional Mexican breakfasts. We had pizza for dinner once which was also good for the money (although the wine list could be better).

Beach is beautiful and loungers / beds are comfy - you are alway able to get one. Staff again are very attentive to bringing you food and drinks as and when required. Sea is lush and the sand is SO SOFT! Beaut.

Would recommend - particularly good for couples - as a romantic setting.

Stayed there in November for 3 days. Excellent service from the entire personel. The food at the restaurant is absolutely amazing.
This is a perfect spot to relax in a quiet environmet. Remember you are at the end of the beach road which takes longer but also means more quiet.
Definitely recommend it.
