“we went in for a quick drink but it not thing special”
Review of Clan-Destino

Clan-Destino
Ranked #210 of 500 Restaurants in Tulum
Price range: US$2 - US$7
Description: Clan-Destino the Hamburlesque or like us, Mexican say the Cabaret of Hamburgers, because is the only one in the gender of the hotel zone of Tulum. Is a place illuminated by a cenote where a chandelier reflects magic and mysticism. We have 4 types of hamburgers: Beef, pork, portobello and oats; that way kids, adults, women, men, dogs ,vegetarians, meat eaters and every fanatic of the American Culture is satisfied. Also we have the Virgins' Cenote where you can jump in and recover your virginity, once you are in you will notice nothing is happening but you will feel fresh the part before mentioned. If that fun is not enough we have also a JukeBox with the best variety of music and Karaoke so when you are tuned up with the mezcal of the house you can sing like a Rockstar. In this concept we experiment with Eco Sustainable technics, the walls are made with smashed coconuts which our loving neighbor gave us. GRILLING MON-SUN, IF THE AMBIENCE IS GOOD WE'LL KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU'RE SATISFIED.

We decided to check our Clan-Destino because we heard it was a fun spot with a cenote for swimming. The place definitely has a chill atmosphere, and our drinks were good. But when our burgers arrived, one of them had a huge mold spot on the bun. We paid for the drinks and left immediately. Moldy bread can only mean nasty meat. I cannot advise against this place strongly enough.

We loved this place. Both the beef burger and buffalo chicken burgers were wins. Fries were good too. Decent prices for Tulum, about $110 pesos for a burger. Right next to a beautiful cenote so you can take a dip and enjoy your food and drinks. The service was good, food very fresh. Easy to miss from the street. Look for the tall skinny orange sign. We were in that area of Tulum for a week and ate there twice. Highly recommended

The burgers are pretty awesome really, even though they are small. Fries are fries. Beers were not cold enough to serve so I ordered a mojito, which was pretty good. Cenote is small but clean and clear and a nice addition to a good lunch. Overall, if you want a good burger in paradise, drop in and order two. Don’t forget your pesos!
