When we arrived, we got a room in the tree wing. It’s an old building. Some rooms have a view at the pool. We got a small and dark room with no coffee and tea facilities at the back with no view.
We paid for an upgrade in the main building. With nice spacious rooms with a safe and coffee and tea facilities. You receive only coffee and 2 bottles of water when you arrive. After that you have to pay for it. We stayed for 6 nights.
The phone at the room didn’t work.
If you go out early they will prepare a lunchbox for you, but only if you go later then 7 a.m
We had a big leak in the bathroom. Water was dripping out of the lamp. They fixed it when we were in the room. The toiletpaper got very wet because of that but they didn’t bring new paper, because there was no housekeeping. We had to get it ourselves at the reception.
They have a nice pool and their own Cenote.
The shower is good. The safe is spacious so a laptop fits in it.
The elevator doesn’t work. It looks like they broke it down.
The hotel is in the middle of the center and is behind a restaurant/bar which gives lot of noise till late in the night.
The hotel is very close to the beach, but because of the seaweed we hardly went to the beach.
WiFi is oké. There are moments the connection was lost.
I don’t think we would book this hotel again.

my husband and i vist playa del carmen often and wanted to try a different hotel. we were very pleased with our choice. they have a pool, very clean grounds, provide beach towels, and serve an excellent FREE breakfast. the only thing that was a negative was the elevator was not working. otherwise it was perfect close close to everything!

Room tip: there is a beautiful view from the roof top. great for pictures

We spent one night with my three kids. It was lovely. I can’t say enough about the great staff especially Jose. I went swimming with my two daughters. The pool is small but very nice. The hotel courtyard is peaceful with its own Cenote. The staff sent us to the perfect local restaurant to eat dinner. Once again, just ask the staff and they will help. The location can’t be beat. It’s halfway between a beach entrance and the main walking/shopping street (1/2 block in each direction). It’s also just around the corner from the bus terminal (touristica). The hotel room is simple and nicely decorated and very clean. If you like quiet local boutique hotels. This is the place for you.

Great Location near ADO bus and Ferry to Cozumel, beach and 5th avenue, but it is not on the beach. The photo they used in advertising made it look like it was ON the beach. Most of the front desk staff was nice except for one lady who acted like it was inconvenience to ask her for anything. The room cleaning staff was wonderful, but the pool was not very clean. Also there was some construction going on up on the roof while we were there.

This is a very affordable place and the location is great. It is right on the beach and next to the main plaza where they have nightly performances. The wifi is great and the breakfast included in the price was good. The staff is very nice and you feel right at home when you check in. The only con was our bathroom was a bit outdated. The room itself-was nice. I would stay here again.

Room tip: There is a parking lot one block west of the hotel in case you need to park a rental car overnight.
