We ordered chicken mole (Rene's recommendation) and tacos. Rene even made his "famous" lemonade for us. This is a fun stop to eat. It is not a fancy place to eat; however, you will enjoy you time there. Meals are now posted in USD. The chicken mole cost $7 and tacos $5.

This restaurant is run by a nice little couple, Rene and Renee. You can watch Renee cooking away in the kitchen while their son waits on the tables. It is a small very quaint restaurant, which we loved. Food was amazing! I had the chicken tacos and guacamole with chips. My husband had the grilled chicken, which looked and tasted amazing (i had to try a bite)!

We went to this restaurant because a Mexican guide told us to. We were afraid at the beginning, as it was really dirty (and when I say dirty, I mean really dirty). However, we stayed to eat and we didn't feel sorry about it: a very friendly staff and by far, the best food we've had in two weeks in Mexico. A must see for those interested in authenthic things, but only if you are not afraid about how dirty the place looks.
