I have stayed at Casita de Maya 2 times. Once in July 2014 for 4 nights and again in Oct 2018 for another 4 nights. I love this little hotel. Dan and his team make us feel welcome from the moment we arrive. It’s like visiting an old friend, even though the trips were years apart. If you want restaurant recommendations or need a translator, these guys are great. Dan even stayed up with us while a tropical storm blew past. We were hanging out with music, swapping stories, and enjoying the ride. Dan genuinely wants you to have a great vacation in Cozumel.
Daniel (the chef) makes us the best breakfasts just how we prefer and will deliver them as we drink coffee on the patio. This place is non-fussy but great for a really chill vacation. I can’t wait to go back. Hopefully it won’t take 4 years.More
