“Superb Diving Experience.”
Reviewed 7 March 2012

With fewer than 50 dives under my belt since being recertified, Chankanab offfers the full spectrum of diving from deep to drift to cave to wreck diving. This place offers everything. Thse vistas are breathtaking and wildlife abundant. All I can say is schedule your trip as soon as possible.

“all things to do in 1 location !!!!!!”
Reviewed 6 March 2012

we arrived off the cruise ship Carnival conquest on 02/29/12. we took a taxi to the park that cost a party of 4 10 dollars one way. The taxis were everywhere and did not have to worry about finding a taxi when you left. We arrived at the park and payed an entrance fee of 23 dollars a person. we received a free t-shirt and a free coke or water. We walked through the replica mayan village (which was kinda interesting) and later went to the beach to snorkel. The beach was beautiful and had steps to help you in the water. My wife and I brought snorkel gear with us, and are friends rented snorkel gear (which was 10 dollars a person). Just to let everyone know, if you bring your own snorkel gear you have to have a snorkel vest. We were meet by are waiter who brought us to 4 chairs that was covered. there was no fee for chairs. we payed for a package deal that was 6 beers, 02 rum punches, and salsa and chips for $23 dollars. After getting situated we put on are snorkel gear and headed out to the water. It was a large area to snorkel and had several colorful fish and statues you could take pictures of. After snorkeling and finishing thea beers!! the couple that was with us did the dolphin swim. It took her approx. 45 minutes and she loved ever minute of it. my wife and I stayed on the side of the peir and took picutes of her. Just to let everyone know that you are only allowed at a certain spot to take pictures, so I recommend bringing a camera with a good zoom lids. They do have alot more stuff to do at the park such as sea lion show, manatee show, but are time was limited and did not go. I would recommend this park to anyone and it is a must if you are visiting cozumel. If you have kids it is perfect!!!! are camera we used was a fujifilm x20 waterproof camera. it did awesome for the price!!!

“Lovely place to spend a day at the beach”
Reviewed 5 March 2012

My family and I spent a half day at the Chankanaab Park. The grounds were beautiful. The artificial beach had a nice, powdery sand, very nice for my baby to play on, plenty of chairs and shade. They small bay is great for snorkeling. Drinks and food are priced like in the US. We didn't swim with dolphins, there was an additional charge for that of $78 per person for 30 minutes (plus 30 minutes of instructions). The sea lion show is free (several times a day) and you can watch the dolphins from the pool area. I did feel a little sorry for those smart creatures that had to live in captivity.

“2007 Honeymoon”
Reviewed 4 March 2012

Swam with the dolphins here. It was enjoyable but not worth what you pay. However the park was very nice and there is a lot to do. You can spend the entire day here. Also great if you like to snorkle or scuba dive.
