This is our 3rd year coming to Iberostar Cozumel. The staff are amazing, the resort is clean. Ericka is absolutely amazing! She really knows how to take care of her guests! Fidel, Raymond. Monolo, Pablo, milton. Anna, Rogelio, Flor, Roxana and so many more to list make you feel special just like family. We always look forward to going back each year to visit our resort family and home away from home. Thank you for another amazing visit!!

This was our first trip to Iberostar (and first anywhere during the pandemic) and we absolutely loved it!

The check-in was friendly and relatively efficient. The visit with the concierge was unnecessary for us as all we wanted to to was dive and relax. The Iberostar app tells you all of the activities and events every day anyway which was nice and easy to use with the free WiFi.

The resort is beautiful and our room, overlooking the beach, was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The resort was well under 50% occupancy so at times we felt we had the beach and/or pool practically to ourselves. (One of the few positives of Covid.)

The food was quite varied and delicious. We are not “foodies” but do appreciate good food which we got. Most meals were buffet style but with lots of choices. It appeared that they started opening up a restaurant at the end of our trip but we stuck with the open air buffet because it worked well for us.

We scheduled our Covid test at check in for two days prior to departure. That process was very easy. We went to a designated room where a local doctor met us, inserted the swab in our nose, ran the test and gave us a result in a couple minutes. We stopped by the front desk that evening and they provided us with the printout confirmation of the negative test which we used when checking in at the airport.

The on-site dive shop (Dressel Divers) was run very well with many friendly and fun divemasters and great dive crew.

We would definitely go back to this Iberostar even though it will most likely have more people next time.

We had a wonderful family vacation at Iberostar Cozumel! The resort is beautiful with lush landscaping, cool animals all over, large pool (good temp), beautiful beach and ocean (need water shoes to walk directly in) and everything was very clean. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily as well. Good food and drinks and we could always find something to eat that we enjoyed, as well as, our 6-year-old. As far as COVID we all felt safe and had no worries. All staff had masks and face coverings on at all time. Speaking of staff – ALL were wonderful but a big shout out to Angelo, Cesar, Arianna and Ismael. They all made our stay extra fun and were always smiling and very welcoming!

We are a married couple traveling without children. This was our second visit to the resort, the first travel during the pandemic. Iberostar Cozumel was the laidback experience we needed. They have done everything possible to keep guests safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. EVERY employee wore masks, and they were vigilant about guests wearing them in food service locations. The COVID testing was easy and fast. (Be sure to download the Verifly app, this greatly facilitated our processing at the airport).

The food is good, we would prefer more variety, but there are no complaints. The pool is big and there is ample seating, even with chairs socially distanced. The beach area is beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The evening shows are fun and worth attending. Several staff were of note. Ismael is so kind. He works with the children in the Starcamp. He is so patient with them; they follow him like ducklings. Angelo is so much fun. His poolside games were a highlight. He is also a great performer in the shows! Adrian at the beach bar was a great bar tender.

We dove with Dressel and recommend them too.

We had such a great time at Iberostar Cozumel. The entertainment was amazing - Angelo, Cesar and Jaret were so much fun and engaging and talented! We enjoyed working out with Manolo from Fit & Fun - sunset yoga, water aerobics and Zumba. The food was delicious with something for everyone. The wait staff and bartenders could not have been more attentive and kind. I cannot say enough good things about our visit. We will be back soon and if you haven’t been, you should go!!
